The property really needs a good renovation. There was a damp smell in the bathroom, we understand the age of the property but was not nice. The mattress on the double bed was very uncomfortable. There were some good appliances. The shower was very good. It's very basic, and do able, but wouldn't be everyone's cuppa a tea.

This cottage was a cow byre 200 years ago and was converted in 2001. The accommodation is basically comfortable - including the bed - but not luxurious: my payout for your four night stay was £165.12p
I am glad the Shower was good.

Lovely warm and cosy cottage in a fantastic location! My daughter also loved the pond in the courtyard and loved checking on the fish every morning and night, added bonus!Hosts we're also friendly and welcoming, and super easy check in. Will definitely be back!

We enjoyed our stay and found it to be convenient for our day trips to the moors and neighboring areas. Very peaceful, quiet location. The cottage was comfy and spacious.
What an absolute gem of a property. . Spacious. Everything we needed to unwind and relax and an ideal setting for exploring beautiful North Yorkshire. Cant wait to return.
The cottage is rustic and homely with a great shower and plenty of hot water. We felt very close to nature as the courtyard outside has a large pond which attracts lots of birds and the roof space of the opposite section of the enclosed space has loads of nesting swallows.
An attractive property, that was fully equipped with everything that we needed. We were a group of five with three generations staying at the property. There was plenty of space, and everyone loved our time there. The location is relaxing and peaceful, but central enough to allow us to visit attractions across the area.
We loved staying in the 2 bedroom cottage. So quiet and tranquil. Helen has been amazing, nothing was too much trouble.
We would love to come back again sometimes.
