We had a wonderful stay and the location to the lake was walkable. Just a peaceful lovely home. Also deers visited every morning. The kids loved it !

Very Nice!

Very clean, spacious and updated house. The only thing that would make the stay better was if there was a bigger backyard, however it looks like all the properties in the community are similar.

Really beautiful home. It suited our needs well. Very clean which is high on my priority list. The kids enjoyed the basement/game room. Very comfy living space. We chose THE coldest weekend to spend in PA with lots of leftover snow and fresh snow. We had to shovel our way a path from the car to the entryway but other than that no major complaints. Thanks so much!

Lovely home

My husband, two of our children and their spouses, and one grandchild (3 yrs old), and two dogs had a great time during our stay at Big Bear Chalet. The house was very well stocked with everything we could need, and was spacious,clean and comfortable. We couldn't have picked a better place!

Big, comfy home

When we arrived at Big Bear Chalet we couldn’t believe the spaciousness as well as cleanliness of this home. The description was spot on! Nothing was left out, every amenity listed was in the home and then some! We were a total of 6 adults, a toddler and a baby as well as my daughter’s beagle. Loved every moment and hope to be back next year. Even the weather didn’t deter us from having a good time.

Two thumbs up to Big Bear Chalet

As frequent VRBO users, our group found Russel's home to be one of the best we have ever used. The home itself is beautiful, with lots of space for everyone. I think we used every part of the house with the exception of the upstairs sitting room! The deck has a beautiful view, plenty of chairs are available at the fire pit, the kitchen table was perfect for eating as well as playing games and plenty of room on the living room couch. Our group really enjoyed playing Pac Man in the game area too! The amenities in the home were terrific. It was great to not worry about sheets, towels and those other little things you usually need to pack for a rental...they thought of everything! There were big coffee mugs, great pots/pans and even plastic dishes/lids for leftovers! Our group enjoyed the lake and the pool. We were a little disappointed that the community isn't very pet friendly, but there we felt very comfortable walking our dogs around the development, that they had plenty of exercise. They too enjoyed the deck and plenty of room in the house to spread out. Candace and Russel were great with communication and offered guidance to our questions. I'd highly recommend this home and our group hopes to visit again sometime.

Our time was incredible! It was a perfect amount of space for our family. The kids had space to play downstairs or on the desk! The home was clean and had anything we could need.
