Large 4-bedroom log cabin that exudes coziness from the inside out. Set on a gorgeous, 15+ acre property and only 7 minutes from both downtown Livingston Manor and Roscoe. Stay home and enjoy the mountainous views, watch for wildlife, or head into the nearby towns for an amazing food, brewery or vintage shopping scene!

Our log home merges the essence of the Catskill mountains with the textures and minimalistic design of a Scandinavian cottage. Our aesthetic is warm, simple, and luxurious. We feature local art, vintage pieces, and a touch of boucle wherever possible.

Well-equipped, well-stocked kitchen with mountain views and 4 bar stools.
Handmade, wooden table that comfortably seats 6 or more.
Outdoor dining room with log table and 4 seats, plus bar stools for additional guests.

Comfortable living room with 2 couches, a swivel loveseat, and additional nook seating. Wood burning fireplace for cuddling up, plus thermostats in every room for ease of use. And in the warmer months, fans throughout. Open layout indulges an entertainer's dream.

And when the weather is right, enjoy our deck and vast 15 acre property. We've got no shortage of Adirondack chairs, picnic tables and more.

Clean home! Great for three couples and one child who enjoyed the toys and the crib. Good kitchen and hang out space. 10 min from town w restaurants and from brewery. 2.5 hrs from city. Great views and privacy! Host very responsive and helpful.

The perfect weekend getaway!

We had a delightful stay at Amber Acres Lodge and are already planning our next visit! The accommodations were exceptional, and the views were breathtaking. Our host was wonderfully communicative and kind, making our experience truly special. We can't say enough great things about our stay. We were based in the gorgeous house for a family reunion in Livingston Manor. The house was fully equipped for our family. The many beautiful outdoor spaces made this house perfect for working as well as vacation

Great property

We really enjoyed Amber Akers. Very secluded and connected to the natural surroundings. Mountains, rivers, and streams everywhere around you. The towns of Livingston Manor and Roscoe are fantastic. The host of the property were very connected and made sure we had an excellent stay. We hope to go back someday soon.

Magical Stay at a Magical Home

If you’re keeping score… POSITIVES 1,00,000 NEGATIVES 0 Beautiful home with all the amenities, including a VERY friendly and hospitable host. We had six adults for 3 nights/4 days, and everyone was extremely comfortable. It was over Thanksgiving and it snowed quite a bit, which gave a magical home even more of a magical feel. Bedrooms were extremely comfortable and inviting, kitchen was first-class in every way, and living room area was so inviting, with great couches and an awesome fireplace. Keira had the driveway plowed each and every time it snowed. It is 10 minutes to both Roscoe and Livingston Manor, which have pretty much everything you might need for your stay. Additionally, two people in our group got engaged during our stay, making it even more special! Gush, gush gush…FIRST-CLASS and MAGICAL IN EVERY WAY!! Thank you, Keira!!

Beautiful Memories Made !!

This Gorgeous Log Home should speak for itself but in case it doesn’t …this review will help !! The owner could not have been more attentive from inception to completion with our stay - questions we asked were answered promptly and when my sons flight arrived hours prior to our flight arriving - the hosts were gracious enough, to allow an early check in - The home is immaculate and honestly designed beautifully (I am an Interior Designer) It’s remote for sure, but we really just loved sitting on the deck, enjoying the fresh air and sunsets or in the late evening having a fire with s’mores, watching lightning bugs blink …it was truly just pure relaxation - We grilled one evening and the kitchen is well appointed - spices, pots + pans etc ! The books scattered through the home were fabulous - from photography to interesting stories of people that left city living to live in Yutori. We were in town for my nephews wedding which was at Handsome Hollow in Long Eddy - wasn’t a bad ride (25 minutes) if you are headed that way - If you stay here …I promise… you will make memories that will forever put a smile on your face !! Thank you for that !!

Great house, location and host

The main reasons I chose the house was for the remoteness, dark skies (for my telescope) and for a family get together with our adult children. Well it rained all weekend. So although there were no stars, it was a great weekend in the house with us as a family The house is well done, spacious, has enough places for each of us to have time for ourselves, but had great spaces for us to be together. The living room and kitchen were the focal points, as every great family house should be. It was clean throughout and the property was awesome. Keira is a great host and is on top of everything. I've rented many vacation homes which has been a family tradition. By far, Keira was amongst the most welcoming and accommodating. She even drove to the lake access and took a video so i would easily find it. We did and it was a beautiful walk during a break in the rain. We never left the house nor did we need to. The long weekend flew by making us want to stay a little longer. Thanks for everything, Todd
