Spend your days relaxing and swimming from your private dock, or taking advantage of local attractions like Cedar Point's Michigan Adventure. Grill something for dinner, eat on the deck, and make s'mores around the fire pit. Or, hop in the car and take in a sunset on the beaches of Lake Michigan! Relaxing Lake House

Great lake house for a relaxing vacation. You can take trips to the local beaches or just stay and enjoy the view. There are kayaks to take it all in. Highly recommend.

A native of Pennsylvania, I grew up in the country and have never lost my love for quiet, natural surroundings. I am a professional orchestral musician and spend my free time reading, cooking, and playing tennis. My husband and I raised two daughters and are now empty-nesters.

Why they chose this property

My husband's family has been coming to Big Blue Lake every summer since the 1940's. So many wonderful family vacations and memories have been made here, and we are now looking forward to sharing this idyllic spot with our guests.

What makes this property unique

Evansdale Cottage is a perfect blend of old and new. One of the first cottages on Big Blue Lake, it features the original knotty pine walls but has modern amenities and Wifi. Early mornings often bring the calls of the Loon or views of the Bald Eagle family diving for fish, but is also a wonderful location for water skiing and tubing.
