The Cowboy Casa -Rustic Idyllwild Cabin for 2

Why spend time and more money at a local Inn when you can stay in an economical, private, cozy and rustic studio next to the forest in Pine-Cove. Just three miles from the town of Idyllwild, the Cowboy Casa is like a time capsule - filled with art and memorabilia from the days when cowboys and Indians roamed the West. Updated with modern conveniences, the casa has private parking with a separate entrance downstairs from the main cabin. It includes a comfortable seating area, queen 10 in. memory foam bed, full kitchen, bath with shower, WiFi, and streaming TV. A 1/3 acre fully fenced back yard offers big black oak trees, pine trees and Manzanita for your approved dog to enjoy.

The Cowboy Casa is a private and separate part of an updated authentic 1940s cabin built with original Idyllwild milled pine. We live adjacent and upstairs with our well-behaved Weimaraner dogs and are all gone much of the time. The Cowboy Casa is available for a single person or a couple. We live in a quiet neighborhood and quiet times are from 8pm to 7am. If you don't like rustic then this cabin is not for you!

Just what I needed for a weekend getaway in the mountains. I had a great, relaxing time, and the hosts were wonderful. I love the rustic little western themed studio. It was clean, the bed was very comfortable and the neighborhood was quiet. Idyllwild is only 3 miles down the road so it's easy to go into town for whatever you might want to do there. I'm sure I'll stay there again.

Rustic Getaway

Like the owner said “if you don’t like rustic this place is not for you.” Great place to getaway and relax. Weather was a bit wintery still but the cabin was warm and the hosts went beyond with extras like drinks,condiments and even some food.

Easy access from your car to the studio. It is charmingly furnished and in a lovely quiet neighborhood. Everything I could have possibly wanted, with the exception of a few more hangars, was available. The bed and furnishings were very comfortable. I'll stay again. The hosts were wonderful!

Beautiful Winter Weekend

Where do i start? Mr. & Mrs. Atwood are two of the kindest people we have met. They helped us through the snow, they accommodated our dogs, the property is just an absolute rustic and charming getaway for a couple of days. We love you both and cannot wait to book again!

Why they chose this property

It’s very quiet, with maybe three cars a day passing by, if that. We choose the neighborhood because we liv,ed the cabin and its spacious backyard for our dogs.

What makes this property unique

It’s an American history lesson! The studio Is filled with books and art focusing on cowboys and Indians.
