About this property

Cabin Near Glacier National Park. Our Montana Cabin, the Sheriff Jail, has a little more comfort than a standard Jail, there is a fully stocked dine in kitchen (no oven), a living room/sitting area w/TV, a couch that folds down for extra sleeping space, and of course a bedroom behind bars with a King bed. The bathroom has a walk in tile shower and a sink vanity with a lighted mirror. There is a front deck with seating and 2 acres of common outdoor space. We even have Rental Cars at discounted rates for our Guests. When you book both a cabin and car with us we will provide a complimentary shuttle service that can pick you up at the Glacier Airport or West Glacier Train Station and bring you to your Cabin and Car. At the end of your trip you will return the car to us and we will provide a shuttle service to shuttle you back for your departure. Fort Williamson is located just 15 minutes from the West Glacier entrance, 15 minutes from Glacier International Airport, and is only minutes from downtown Columbia Falls, MT.

Weekend Getaway

This place lived up to the listed and the pictures. It was a great place to stay and cozy home away from home with a theme. Love the theme of the place and definitely want to check out the other listings Fort Williamson has. The host was great in the communication and easy to work with. The check in and check out process was great. I would definitely recommend this place if you are looking for a place close to Glacier National Park.

The sheriff's jail

Came down from northern Canada and was frozen to the Bone last week. Check in process was incredibly smooth thanks to the emails received from Jennifer. I was pleasantly greeted by her and her lovely dogs and was incredibly impressed with the layout of the area as well as the individual cottage/jail. Would highly recommend the jail as well as the other cabins which have various amenities. I will definitely be booking with them again as I travel through Montana on my next motorcycle trip.

AMAZING!!!!

Our stay was so wonderful. Everything we clean comfortable and peaceful! It was not hard to find and was in a prime location to go to Glacier National Park, White Fish, etc. The owners were friendly with lots of suggestions of places to see and good restaurants. A Great place to stay!!!

Welcome to Fort Williamson! We are a friendly couple that loves to Host. We originally stumbled into Hosting because of a loft we had above our garage. Well that loft ended up being a hit and we added 2 more additional spaces for guests to rent. As hosting grew on us over the years, we decided to expand. In May of 2019 we broke ground to begin the building of Fort Williamson Glacier Vacation Rentals. We completed building by June of 2020 and were able to open our doors and begin accepting guests. Fort Williamson offers unique tiny home cabin lodging in the setting of an Old West Town. The different themed units are a Sheriff 's Jail, Roses Place, Joe's Saloon, Madam Woman's Inn, and Kim's Trading Post. In our off time from hosting we love to enjoy the outdoors ourselves. There is nothing better than being deep in the mountains on a trail or on one of the many rivers or lakes with our Kayaks in the summer. Our properties are conveniently located along US Hwy 2 between Columbia Falls, Montana and Glacier National Park. The Park’s west entrance is only 15 minutes away. The Glacier International Airport is only 15 minutes away. The town of Columbia Falls, that has everything you will need is only minutes away. We have a Fantastic Central Location as our properties are conveniently located right along US Hwy 2 between Columbia Falls, Montana and Glacier National Park. The Park’s west entrance and west Glacier Amtrak station is only 15 minutes away. The Glacier International Airport is only 15 minutes away. The town of Columbia Falls, that has everything you will need is just minutes away. Additionally we are attenuative onsite hosts which is very rare to find these days. We are always nearby or onsite just in case something is needed.

We are the only Themed Lodging in the area. We have 5 individual cabins onsite that are built in the setting of an Old West Town. Each cabin at Fort Williamson Glacier Vacation Rentals is completely unique in it's own way. In addition to cabins we offer onsite Car Rentals at a discounted rate through Glacier Specialty Car Rentals. To top it off when you book both a cabin and car with us we will provide a complimentary shuttle service that can pick you up at the Glacier Airport or West Glacier Train Station and bring you to your Cabin and Car.
