Take me back!!!
Very cozy and unique cabins - a little towns on its own. Such welcoming and lovely hosts. We loved our stay. I already recommend this place to my friends. Hope to go back there one day.
Great hosts (and their dogs too!), close to tons of activities, Joe’s Saloon was so much bigger with so many more amenities than we expected. 10/10 would stay there again.

Best Place to stay in Columbia Falls
The property was so clean, everything was in a proper place and easy to find. If you had forgotten a toothbrush or other essentials, they had a supply for their guests. It was so peaceful and an enjoyable stay. Jennifer and Robert were great hosts. We stayed three nights and would not hesitate to stay at Fort Williamson again.

Great place to be!
If your looking for a place to hang out for a day or two, you just found it. This place is great. Fancy in all the rite spots, but laid back enough to relax. The owners are in site, and very nice. There 2dogs are very friendly.(Nelson and Mandy) Didn't get to meet the cat. If we go back to Montana, we will book with them for sure.

Loved this cabin
The cabin was not only super cute from the outside but also beautifully decorated and cozy on the inside, just perfect for a relaxing.
The owners were absolutely wonderful. They made us feel right at home and were so sweet with our daughter and my stepson, which we really appreciated. One of our favorite moments was sitting around the fire pit making s’mores on a gorgeous evening.
The location was also ideal, just minutes from the west entrance of Glacier National Park and close to several popular towns, so we had easy access to everything we wanted to explore.
This trip was truly unforgettable, and staying in these cabins was a big part of what made it so special. I’d definitely recommend it to anyone looking for a beautiful and welcoming place to stay!

Easy comfort
Awesome location, fire pit out front, good decor and memorabilia from music career. The bidet is a feature we like and do not see at most US facilities. The hosts were friendly and available to help with questions.

Wonderful!
This is a wonderful accommodation for your Glacier Park Destination. From the initial booking Jen was in touch with so many helpful hints. Food, park information, and anything else we needed to ask, she responded quickly. We loved the cabin, very 1st class with everything you might need and all of top quality. The attention to detail in the decor and the provisions was amazing. Highly recommend!

Fort Williamson is a MUST
We have stayed here twice and absolutely love everything about Fort Williamson including the owners. They are truly amazing people. They are so helpful, kind, friendly. They go above and beyond. The cabins are so cute and extremely clean. We feel like we are home away from home. Don't even hesitate...just book here. You won't be disappointed
I love when property owners understand it is more than just the basics like having a clean place and comfortable bed (which they more than delivered), the additional attention to detail is what will make this a place you will return to if visiting the West Glacier area. The adorable western town theme, decor in the unit, everything you need to stay comfortably. And the owners are super cool too. We will definitely return.

AMAZING VACATION
If you’re planning a trip to Glacier National Park, I would highly encourage you booking your stay with Robert and Jennifer. They put customer satisfaction as a top priority. My husband and I stayed 6 nights at Joe’s saloon and everything was perfect. They even provide a car rental service if you need a rental while on vacation. The drive to GNP is a short 10-15 min drive to the west gate. We will definitely be going back.

Joe's Saloon was awesome.
We had the best experience at Fort Williamson! Everything from the booking to the checking in and even the checking out was great. Jennifer sent emails letting us know all the information we needed to know along with information as restaurants in the area. Once we were there, we had our own private parking area. We unpacked and the cabin is decorated beautifully, then we proceeded to sit on the front porch and just enjoy the area and mountains across the way. Robert was kind enough to come over and talk with us and made sure everything was good. If we are ever in the area again, we would definitely want to return.

Great accommodations
We stayed at Joe's Saloon for a brief 3 day stay. Jennifer picked us up at the airport and brought us to the VRBO. We rented a jeep from them and it was clean and ready to go when we got there. We didn’t spend much time at the VRBO because we were exploring the park during the day and going out to eat in the evenings. The cabin was clean and nicely decorated. There's a firepit with chairs and bag toss available. Jennifer assisted us with getting a daily vehicle park pass so we didn’t have to worry about missing out on the park. When it was time to leave, Robert brought us back to the airport. Overall, very nice setup they have there and they were very accommodating and friendly. Their 2 dogs, Mandy & Nelson, were also very friendly and came to visit us when we were outside. Thank you Robert & Jennifer!

Amazing!!
The property is in an area that is not crowded but close enough to grab a quick dinner or breakfast before heading to GNP. The tiny homes were decorated in this western theme that you could tell was hand picked for each individual time home. We stayed in Joes Salon and it was decked out to a T! We loved it! The owners were VERY accommodating and would help you with ideas of things to do or how to get tickets for GOTSR. We used the car rental services through them which was a lot less of pain then trying to rent from the airport. When scouting the area while driving around I couldn’t find anywhere else I would have rather stayed while visiting GNP. I thought I would regret not staying in the park but after staying here and seeing the places in the park (they are old and dingy on the inside ) I know I made the right decision. Can’t wait to return!!

Glacier vacation & Joe’s Saloon
If you’re looking for the best possible experience one could receive then no reason to look anywhere else. Robert and Jennifer understand customer service like no other. From the time we landed until the time we left, they were wonderful. Made us feel at home the moment we met them. Robert’s vision for hospitality and creativity was amazing. We stayed in “Joe’s Saloon”. It was perfect. They have taken the time to decorate them up according to the theme. Not some cheezy interior design, no, they made it very nice. The evening gatherings at the fire pit was spot on. We met some very nice people from around the U.S. that we hope to stay in touch with. If anyone has anything negative to say, they are way off!!! Nothing negative about Fort Williams. Oh and glacier was our favorite place to visit so far!!! Beautiful.

This place is fantastic and the owners are awesome!!
Last week I was traveling with a buddy from the east coast to Salt Lake City and headed to Spokane, Washington... seeing the national parks on the way. We stopped in for a night's stay at Joe's Saloon on Thursday night July 20th 2023. The place is awesome and the owners are fantastic people. We absolutely loved Joe's Saloon and all of the heart and soul the owners have put into their properties. Not a single detail is missed and every base is covered by the owners who make your stay an exceptional experience. I spoke to them at great length and also met Nelson, the chocolate lab and Mandy as well as Mittens the polydactyl kitty, who are all there to greet you and visit. I give this place five stars all around, there is nothing negative to say about the property nor the owners. It is first class all the way around and a beautiful location in Montana just outside of Glacier National Park. I hated to leave as our stay at Joe's Saloon was near the end of our trip to Montana but I would love to come back and stay again one day when I come back to Montana to explore more. A big thank you for such a great time!

About the host
Hosted by Robert & Jennifer Williamson
We are a friendly couple that loves to Host. We originally stumbled into Hosting because of a loft we had above our garage. Well that loft ended up being a hit so we added 2 more additional spaces for guests to rent at that property. As Hosting continued to grow on us over the years, we decided it was time to expand. In May of 2019 we broke ground to begin the building of Fort Williamson Glacier Vacation Rentals. We completed building by June of 2020 and were able to open our doors to begin accepting guests. Fort Williamson Glacier Vacation Rentals offers unique tiny home cabin lodging in the setting of an "Old West Town". The different themed units are a Sheriff 's Jail, Roses Place, Joe's Saloon, Madam Woman's Inn, and Kim's Trading Post. Each of these cabins are uniquely decorated with antiques to reflect the true theme of the cabins. In Jan 2024 we again made plans to expand and set out on that mission to build on our 33 acre Columbia Mountain mountain side property across the highway from Fort Williamson. By Jan 2025 we completed the building of Chug A Lug Springs, our new home with a rental apartment above the garage right at the base of Columbia Mountain. Chug A Lug Springs is a family friendly space so with Fort Williamson and Chug A Lug Springs being close to each other, about 1/4 mile apart, makes it convenient for larger groups to book seperate lodging close to each other. Both of our properties are conveniently located along US Hwy 2 between Columbia Falls, Montana and Glacier National Park. The Park’s west entrance is only 15 minutes away. The Glacier International Airport is only 15 minutes away. The town of Columbia Falls, that has everything you will need is only minutes away. Downtown Whitefish is about 20 minutes away.
Why they chose this property
We have a Fantastic Central Location as our properties are conveniently located right along US Hwy 2 between Columbia Falls, Montana and Glacier National Park. The Park’s West entrance and West Glacier Amtrak station is only 15 minutes away. The Glacier International Airport is only 15 minutes away. Only 20 minutes to downtown Whitefish Montana. The town of Columbia Falls, that has everything you will need is just minutes away. Additionally we are attenuative onsite hosts which is very rare to find these days. We are always nearby or onsite just in case something is needed.
What makes this property unique
We are the only Old West Themed Lodging in the area. We have 5 individual cabins onsite that are built in the setting of an Old West Town. Each cabin at Fort Williamson Glacier Vacation Rentals is completely unique in it's own way.
