Property was in need of some updates. Basement window was not secured. Sliding glass door screen badly ripped and fell out when tried to open first time. Was in a good location. And we do love Estes Park. But saw no elk this visit but did see moose!!’ Very rustic location.
We had a nice time at the property. It had plenty of space for our family. The view of the mountains was awesome. We love the fireplace and the rec room was nice to have.I would love to return!
Great location! The views are stunning and access to trails and town is perfect. Check in/out was a bit cumbersome with having to go to the real estate office to get a key. A lockbox on the house would be simple and much easier. The house is a little dated, but we were there for the scenery, not the amenities. Overall a great place to stay if you want to get away and have access to RMNP and other fabulous local trails.
Honestly that word sums up the location, home, and property management company. The location is so peaceful and close to everything. The home is huge, cozy, and has everything and more we needed. The property management company was so responsive to our questions and eve. brought us more detergent. Perfect.

Amazing view, a bit outdated but reasonable. we brought our 4 month old and it would get toasty from noon to 5pm during the 4th of July Weekend. But the view and how close it is to the entrance of the rocky national park (10mins) worth it. Keep food inside, moose got into the bed of my truck and ransacked most of my dry food, my fault
This place definitely has pros and cons. It was clean, and spacious, however the basements layout was odd, as you have to go through the bedroom to get to the bathroom and pool table. The kitchen was decent, and the deck was nice. We were able to see turkeys, deer, elks and a bear while sitting on the deck. The biggest drawback, was no air conditioning. The cabin was consistently in the mid 70s during the mornings and in the mid to high 80s during the afternoons/evenings. There was no way to cool down the house, besides opening windows and praying there was a strong breeze, but even the breeze didn’t help. I wasn’t aware that air conditioning was an amenity I should be looking for, and when I contacted the host about ways to cool down the house I was ignored. If it wasn’t for the heat, it would have been a much better experience. So I wouldn’t recommend renting in July/august.

Disliked: Communication, listing accuracy
Positives- roomy, somewhat close to downtown, pool table, quiet, plenty of kitchen items. Negatives- no working television, zero communication with property management when we messaged them, road to get to the property was horrible(probably need 4 wheel drive- we got stuck and had to pay for tow truck), back porch a mess ( pictures were sent to management), very outdated, shower curtain was like Saran Wrap, blinds were “very fragile” and we were told that if we break them we’d have to pay for them. For the first 3 days I never opened them due to being nervous about breaking them! Faucets broken, signs on things saying how to fix it if it leaks. Overall it was a place to sleep and cook meals, but I’d never recommend this place to anyone.
