Larchwood Lodge with Lake View, Salt WaterHot Tub and Hiking Trails on 20 acres

Beautiful home nestled among towering trees on 20 acres. Hike the private trails to picnic table at the top. Amazing view of Lake Pend Orielle & Green Monarch Mountains to relish while on the deck, in hot tub or as you relax inside on comfy sofas & gaze through large spanning windows. Fenced garden with fresh goodies ripe for the picking (summer/fall). Soothe your muscles in the crystal clean, salt water hot tub, then cozy up to a crackling fire (wood provided).
Well appointed, fully stocked kitchen including Instapot, Crockpot, Ninja food processor, blender, tea kettle, waffle/pancake griddle, Panini maker, tons of baking gear and a large pantry.
Appreciate the quiet and truly get away! Peaceful tranquility with breathtaking views await!
All of our beds are new and super comfy!
-Main floor has one bedroom with 1 queen (memory topper) and 2 twins.
-Upstairs has master suite with king bed. In common area there is one full and one queen futon. Memory topper available for the full futon.
-Lower level is also private with 1 queen bed (memory topper) and one twin pull out sofa chair (memory topper in armoire). This room has access to hot tub and TV area.

We intentionally do not have wifi/cable to help you get out and enjoy Idaho! Very limited cell service (1-2 bars with Verizon). We have a land line phone for local and emergency calls. There is a large screen TV with DVD and movies to choose from on lower level. Lots of comfortable seating areas to sink into while enjoying one of the many good reads available. A multitude of games are ready for your family to share.
-We provide a Pack-n-Play.
-We have 2 complimentary kayaks for guest use and life vests, and some blow up floats.
-For winter months chains highly recommended for this home due to possibility of icy driveway despite plowing/sanding
-5 min from Garfield Bay/Lake Pend Orielle, 15 min to Sandpoint, 30 min to Silverwood Amusement & Water Park, 45 min to Schweitzer Mountain for ski/snowboarding, 45 min to Coeur d'Alene, less than 100 miles to Canada.

Very happy with our stay here! The home and view are amazing. The hot tub was wonderful. Garfield Bay is just 10 min away, and it's just 20 min to Sandpoint which has an excellent grocery for whatever you may need. House was fully stocked with the essentials you'd expect and everything worked well. You'll enjoy your visit I'm sure.

LOVED this place!

This place is amazing and I can’t wait to stay there again….AMAZING view, enough room (and then some) for my large family of 9 (ages 6 months-16 years) the host is super communicative….it was seriously so fun. Highly recommend!

Family Getaway in Sagle

We had a great time at this gorgeous cabin!! Only issue was no cell service or wi-fi (which is listed in the listing we just didn't pay attention to it!) We managed without it and it was actually a nice escape from the screens. Would definitely stay again.

Wonderful Stay at Larchwood Lodge

The house was everything promised plus more. We enjoyed having easy access to everything in the area but privacy and quiet when we were at the house. The house had enough common areas and space so we all weren't crowded. Beds were good. Heather, the host, was awesome and made sure we were happy and comfortable. Great house, great view, wonderful responsive host. Couldn't ask for more!

Birthday family reunion

We were very pleased with the house and surrounding area, it was very beautiful and welcoming. Heather was very thoughtful with several little gifts such as jam and jelly beans. The information booklet was very helpful. We have been coming to Lake Pend Orielle for many many years and this is our first time at a rental. We enjoyed it very much! Highly recommended!

Best place ever

We had a wonderful time at Larchwood, from the family game time to the awesome hiking trails. This place is awesome it has some of the best views i have ever seen and is apointed so well to host a large family. We did not want for anything in the kitchen, there was enough bedding to keep everyone warm and cozy. The fire place was almost as awesome as the saltwater hot tub. Heather was great to work with and left us hand written notes and treats for the doggo. We will be back.

Daughter's Wedding

Completely enjoyed our stay at the Larchwood Lodge. It was actually better than what we saw online. The views and amenities exceeded our expectations. From the deck, the hot tub, hiking trails, help yourself gardens, more than adequate sleeping space...... Everything was excellent. It was well within access to our daughter's wedding venue at the Eureka Institute as well as back to Sandpoint and Dover areas. All in all, just great. In our case, internet access and/or cell service would have been beneficial, but we adapted. Heather was great to work with and was understanding about letting us check out at 1:00 instead of 11:00. Thanks again for a very memorable experience!!

Peaceful Pend Oreille Retreat

We had a lovely stay! Larchwood Lodge is such a warm, comfortable, and inviting home - the views of the lake are incredibly peaceful and the house was clean and well stocked with everything we could want, including games, cozy blankets, laundry detergent, and many conveniences in the kitchen that you don’t normally find (tupperware, ziploc bags, olive oil, etc). The deck is a fantastic spot to relax, read, and enjoy a cup of tea or coffee. The hosts were so thoughtful to provide dog treats for our pups and the private yard and trails made this home very pet friendly. Many thanks!! We highly recommend this home.

Hidden Gem

This property is beyond amazing. Beautiful views all around! They have thought about every little detail in this cabin, it has anything you may need to cook your favorite meals, fun games for the entire family. The salt water hot tub was so fun to sit in and take in the beautiful scenery. The cleanliness was top notch. I really appreciated heather with her hospitality and excellent communication. The beds were all so comfortable to get your best nights sleep. It was also nice escaping reality with no wifi connection to spend time as a family in the moment without having the distractions of phones. We can not wait to visit again!

Great hosts, fantastic accommodations and a wonderful property/location.

Heather was great at communicating with us on the pet policy and directions. And Todd was fantastic about plowing the road and addressing an evening issue with the smoke detector (about 20' up on the chimney).It was great having separate bathrooms and floors (!) for each of the couples in our group. We enjoyed both the general location and the trails on the property. While we had thought about skiing/snowboarding, we were just as happy staying local and enjoying our time together as a family. Limited cell access wasn't an issue for us. We could periodically check weather conditions and even received or sent calls (as needed). We may like to return in another season to see and explore more of the area/property.

Larchwood Lodge the Perfect Getaway!

This is exactly as it was billed! Easy to get to just 10 minutes or so up the mountain from Sagle, Idaho. The house is gorgeous and super comfortable with three great bedrooms and bathrooms. Very practical and comfortable with an amazing view of the lake in the distance. We loved the fact that there was no Wi-Fi and trust me when I tell you that your phone will most likely not work at all. We had some great family time playing games and relaxing. Easy to get to places if you do want to go somewhere but honestly, we just loved relaxing and enjoying family time. Heather, the host was super responsive and the house had all the little things included that most rentals make you buy and bring. Very well done property!
