The Grateful Moments Cabin has been a long time member and a 5 Star listing on VRBO for over 3 years.

We have new property management and a brand new listing to serve you better; but rest assured the cabin is as cozy and awesome as ever. We invite all of our faithful returning guests back anytime and welcome all our new guests a to experience the joy that is Grateful Moments Retreat !

A beautiful open concept cabin designed to let the outdoors in. Large windows and scenic views wake you in the morning and rock you to sleep at night.

The Grateful Moments Cabin is a cozy cabin that is located in the Woods Resort, near Berkeley Springs, WV. Spacious, open concept and perfect for extended vacations.

It is less than a 2-hr drive from DC and Baltimore (2.5 hours from Pittsburgh)The resort offers Spa and Salon Services, Sports and Gym equipment, Tennis courts, Racquetball courts, Pickle ball, Indoor and Outdoor Swimming and much More !

The Space:

A Master Bedroom Loft offers its own bathroom with jacuzzi tub , large king size comfy bed, smart TV and plenty of scenic views from the outside.

The Queen size comfy bedroom is perfectly located on the first floor right next to the main bathroom and also has its own smart TV with a scenic view of the front area of the lot where deer like to gather.

Our Kids Room has a twin size roll out bunk bed. The lower bunk rolls away to give more space during the day. This room also offers its own dedicated work space with a desk that looks out over a magnificent sunrise in the morning.

A shared Main Bathroom with tub/Shower is perfect for any family member and is conveniently located on the first floor. We also provide all the towels and toiletries you need for your stay.

A Washer and Dryer is located on the main floor and is available for use.

A fully stocked Kitchen with pots and pans, dishes, glasses, wine glasses, cooking utensils, flatware, coffee maker, toaster and much more! We ensure you have everything you need to cook up a masterpiece for yourself ,family and friends.

Located just inside the front entrance is our fantastic Game Room that includes a 6 foot Pool table/Ping pong table, Foosball Table, Vending Machine, Smart TV, Many Board Games, Cornhole accessories, Cards and tons more to ensure you always have entertainment and family fun at your fingertips.

On the Back Deck you can lounge back and enjoy the sounds of nature while soaking up the sun, jump in the hot Tub for a warm soaking experience or fire up the grill and whip up a tasty meal.

The main Family Room offers a 55 inch Flat screen with tons of channels offered including HULU, Netflix, HBO and more. A large coffee table snuggled between our comfy leather chairs and sofa offers an excellent chance to sit and enjoy a roaring fire in the wood burning fireplace for a relaxing time like no other.

The cabin was clean and cozy. private yet not out in the middle of nowhere. A perfect relaxing retreat. The kitchen was well stocked and the cookware was really nice. The extra amenities available swimming pool, golf and sports complex were a plus even though we didn't get a chance to use them, hopefully next time because we would definitely return.

Everything about this cabin was absolutely perfect. We could not have asked for more amazing hosts. This was truly one of the greatest vacations my wife and I have ever taken, all because of this amazing home. The hot tub was incredible, the game room was fantastic as we literally spent an entire evening playing pool. The cabinets were fully stocked with everything we could have possibly needed. As a couple who loves to golf, the idea of staying close to a golf course was what originally drew us to this location. Our expectations were blown out of the water. I truly cannot say enough good things about this place. 5 stars all around.

Beautiful cabin retreat!

We had a lovely time staying at the cabin. It was extremely well stocked for cooking, had lots of space to relax, and we loved all the games. Hot tub was wonderful and the view of the snow falling out the huge windows was so peaceful.

This cozy cabin has all the ingredients for a fun and relaxing stay. The dog loved it, too! Plenty to do inside, and minutes away are great golf, pickleball, tennis, swimming (indoor and outdoor pools) and more. A great place to decompress and so as much — or little! — as you want.

Nice place to unwind and relax...

If you want to unplug, relax, and enjoy nature, this cabin is a great start. We saw deer and birds in the woods that surround it and the deck was a favorite spot for viewing. It's also within 20-30 minutes, one way, of things to do (antiquing, fishing, kayaking), grocery stores, and all you need plus! The owners are quick to respond and provided plenty of information prior to our arrival. Thank you for sharing your cabin with us!

We enjoy staying here. The deck is great for any meal. The hot tub is easy to access. The overall maintenance of the property is great. The full kitchen is wonderful. It makes cooking a meal a breeze. We enjoyed the acorns falling from the trees. That made for some funny moments. Overall, just a really nice place to get away.

This was a beautiful cabin that was fully stocked and with some great amenities! We stayed with our 5 kids ages 9-16 and it was perfect. The pool table, hot tub and corn hole were a big hit! We had a few questions and the owners responded immediately and went above and beyond to make sure we had a great time. The pool and sports complex at the resort was a lot of fun too. We visited Cacapon state park and went horseback riding and did a few hikes, it is a beautiful area to explore. This was one of the cleanest and best stocked places we have ever stayed and we highly recommend it!

"the woods" cabin

cabin was great and hot tub was great. did not spend a lot of time there. pool table was not a full sized pool table, more like for kids. but everything was good.

Hello, My name is Natalija and my husbands name is Tracy. We are honored to host our cozy cabin in the woods resort.
I am a former gymnast from Latvia that moved to the US 20 years ago and my husband is a Veteran of the US Army who now runs his own home improvement business. If we aren't traveling together with our dog Buddy, we are out hiking or riding bikes, cooking meals together, or spending the day with our daughter and adorable grandson.
We love being with family and enjoying our time together so we hope our cabin lets you make unforgettable memories with yours.
Together we work as a team to ensure our guests have a great experience on there vacations.

Why they chose this property

We fell in love with Grateful Moments cabin when my Husband Tracy was working as the caretaker and property manager for the previous owners.

We were fortunate enough to be able to purchase Grateful Moments form them when they retired and have loved every minute of our cozy cabin getaway.

What makes this property unique

The first thing we noticed about the cabin is how peaceful and quiet it is. Getting away from the noise of traffic and regular city noise pollution has been a soul saving experience. We were also amazed how the deer and other animals come right up to the cabin without fear. Its really an immersive time communing with nature.
