Great home for a family vacation

Our family just got back from a week at the DougOut and we had a great time. The house was perfect for our family of 8. Lots of indoor and outdoor places to play and relax. The walk to the beach was short and perfect! The sunsets were wonderful and the area was perfect for walks, biking and exploring. We will back!

Amazing stay and easy access to beach

We spent a week at the Dougout and it was the perfect spot for exploring Saugatuck, Douglas, the beach and many hikes along the shore. The house was clean, well stocked and a great location. I’m certain we’ll be back!

Great stay!

The home was absolutely beautiful! We cooked delicious meals in the gourmet kitchen, went for walks on the beach just steps away, super convenient location. Very comfortable for 4 adults and 5 kids. Would return!

Great getaway!

The house is super clean and very close to the entrance to Douglas beach. We were able to enjoy gorgeous sunsets and enjoyed gathering in the upstairs family room for movies and board games. Beautiful property!

The Dougout

Had the pleasure of staying at this new home this past week and had a great experience. The home is new and great interior design. Nice and spacious layout. Very close to the beach and shops/ dinning. Great stay for sure.

Beautiful home in great location! We had nine adults, one baby and two dogs and there was room for us all! Great fenced yard, steps to Douglas Beach, and short walk to Woosah coffee shop and the RootBeer Barrel. So much to do in the area it’s a perfect location. Communication with Art Coast properties was excellent. Hope to return soon!

Gorgeous and Pristine

This home was absolutely beautiful and very clean. Booking was easy and communication was fast. Perfect location to walk the beach and close to downtown Saugatuck. We enjoyed seeing an abundance of deer from the window!

Fabulous 50

Thank you so much for letting us enjoy your beautiful home to celebrate by husband’s 50th. This is one of the few rental properties we’ve stayed at that what you saw was what you got, in a good way. It truly felt like a home and not just another beach rental. We would definitely stay here again!

Lovely Stay

I had a long weekend at The Doug Out with my mom and sisters. It is a lovely home. It had plenty of space for the 5 of us to relax, sit at the table together, cook etc... It was spacious and well appointed. The kitchen and pantry are well stocked and made cooking a breeze. The neighborhood is peaceful, and we got lucky to enjoy peak fall colors. We watched many deer in the yard and took relaxing walks to the coffee shop up the road. The proximity to the shops in Saugatuck was so convenient. We were very happy to have stayed at this property.
