About this property

Updated Oceanfront Duplex in Ocean Oaks near the Point

Come stay in our beautiful oceanfront home in the popular Ocean Oaks neighborhood on Emerald Isle. We offer a wrap-around ocean view from the kitchen and living area, along with ocean-facing windows in each of our three bedrooms.

Our goal is to make your family feel welcome in one of the cleanest, nicest vacation rentals you have ever experienced. Much of our home was renovated after Hurricane Florence, with coastal comfort in mind. Each bedroom features spa sheets and a smart TV. Our kitchen comes well stocked, and we include your basic oils, spices, condiments, detergents, and paper goods with your rental.

Outside, sun yourself on the upper deck, or grab a spot in the shade on our lower deck. We have a rinse shower down by the beach, and there is an enclosed shower under the house with hot water and a changing area for those who like to feel the breeze. Beach chairs and a bucket of toys are provided.

For active vacationers, there’s plenty to do. We have two kayaks beneath the house for use on the beach. The 11-mile Emerald Path bike trail runs right past our neighborhood and will carry you to the Point or up through town and all the way to Salter Path. Bring your own bikes, or rent from one of our local shops! Golf courses and additional rentals for kayaking or paddle boarding in the sound are close by as well.

A Jewel on the Emerald coast!

SummerWinds is the nicest and best equipped place we have ever stayed. From the nicely stocked kitchen to the available beach gear, nothing was lacking. My wife will go back just because she loved the outside shower so much.. lol. Again, Great place & Great hosts!

Incredible Oceanfront Home

Our family of 5 greatly enjoyed the beautiful home with an amazing view of the ocean. The kitchen is well stocked. Each of the 3 rooms has an ocean-facing window. We saw dolphins jumping the waves while sitting on the deck. Great location, and the host gave clear instructions about everything. We hope to return.

A great and comfortable oceanfront stay!

This home is lovely and very accommodating! If you’re looking for a quiet, relaxing stay where you just want to enjoy the home and convenience of being right on the beach, this is a great property to do so. The home is well stocked with kitchen necessities, beach items and linens! Our family hated how quickly our stay flew by because we really enjoyed our stay and hope to return! The homeowner was also very responsive with any questions we had. Our group had an infant, 2 year old, and 6 year old With 4 adults and this property worked great for us! I’d recommend to any family with children or just someone looking for a comfortable oceanfront home.

Why they chose this property

Location, location, location. Emerald Isle is an easily accessible, go-to destination for travelers seeking a quiet beach vacation. Our home is in Ocean Oaks, a great family neighborhood with many permanent residents, situated halfway between the Point and Bogue Inlet Fishing Pier. To reach the house, turn right onto Coast Guard Road as soon as you arrive on the island. No need to drive through vacation traffic in town!

Also, the 11-mile-long Emerald Path trail passes by our neighborhood entrance, making it easy to go for a brisk morning jog or a lazy bike ride into town for ice cream!
