Black Wolf is a private couples cabin in Fairplay, 30 minutes from Breckenridge, surrounded by pines. Spend your days hiking or exploring. There are numerous trails, great restaurants and shops. End your day with wine by the fire pit under a dark sky. When you pass through the Time Out gate, the mountains take over.

We had a wonderful stay and only wish we’d had more time! The location was perfect for exploring the area, especially with the fall colors at their peak. It was an easy and beautiful drive to both Buena Vista and Breckenridge for dining, shopping, and sightseeing.We saw lots of wildlife during our stay, including moose, which was definitely a highlight. The cabin was very clean, comfortable, and just right for us and our dogs. It’s a perfect spot for a quiet couple’s getaway while still being close enough to enjoy everything the surrounding mountain towns have to offer.We would absolutely stay here again!

This tiny cabin is set on a 2 acre lot with surrounding trees. You can see beautiful sunrises off of the back deck with Pikes Peak in the far distance. This cabin has a cozy, peaceful feel.
