Heat was on when we arrived in the winter. Snow was removed very well. Room was clean and nicely kept. Garbage was not emptied in the bathroom. Great location for visiting Pictured Rocks.
My son and I recently booked a weekend getaway and on our way there we were pleasantly suprised with an upgraded cabin free of charge! We so got lost on our way and Heather stayed on the phone with us, talked us through the directions until we arrived at the cabin doorstep! We had planned on 'roughing it' but ended up in a cozy, clean, fully furnished cabin! We enjoyed the beautiful lake view and quite woods and had a wonderful relaxing Easter weekend! We made some great memories and are looking forward to coming back soon!

Probably not the place for winter. When I stayed it was in the teens and 20's. The heat was from a small stand alone ceramic heater plugged into wall. I had a Mr Buddy heater I brought, without that it would not have been warm enough. Did not run Buddy heater at night, as I did not see any smoke detectors or CO detectors in cabin. Summer rental would be ok, not a winter rental.
