About this property

Queen Bee cabin with fantastic views

At 7x3 meters, the Queen Bee cabin is a larger than average, well equipped space with underfloor heating and en suite bathroom, where you do actually get hot water in the shower ( as one of our guest put it).
Lovingly decorated with a bee theme ( there are plenty of bee hives on the 2 acre field the cabin sits on), with it’s own private garden just for you to enjoy.

About the host

Hosted by Temi Odurinde

Host profile image
My name is Temi, I am a natural beekeeper, passionate sustainability advocate and a story teller.
Recently I have also become a host, looking after the guest in our eco friendly cabin on our two acre field.

Why they chose this property

The Queen Bee was built with sustainability in mind. The windows were sourced from a salvage yard, the two at either side of the gable end were actually church windows in their former lives. The insulation in the walls is sheep wool, the plywood fashioned without the use of formaldehyde and the paint used as eco friendly as they come.
In addition it was also themed after the Queen Bees in the natural beehives doted all over the field, which was expertly done by our friend Martha, who is a stage set designer.

What makes this property unique

So if you would like to stay in a quirky, unique place that can offer you fantastic countryside views as well as good transport links, this property is for you!
You can even get to the Queen Bee by bus, the bus stop is only a few yards from the entrance.
