About this property
A PINK DOOR WELCOME near eateries breakfast + parking included
Breakfast for the first morning is in fridge includes: overnight oats, rolls, eggs, butter, plenty of coffee and tea. This is not a service but an extra I supply at no additional charge.
We do live above the unit. we do our best to be respectful during active hours. Quiet hours 10pm-7am. Please be sure to communicate if anything is disruptive as your comfort and enjoyment is important to us. We will do the same.
Wrap your arms around your loved one at this stylish and centrally-located home away from home. Right next to Jefferson Park, bike paths, and within walking distance to coffee shops and restaurants. Take the light rail or bus downtown in 10 mins, ride your bike or rent our electric bikes and explore the local area. Bike paths right outside the front door. Take your dog for a walk at Jefferson Park or stroll with your coffee from Victrola. Watch the Sunset from Jefferson over the city. I do live above the unit. The home is 3 levels. The apartment is at basement level with separate entrance and laundry. There is central ac in main room controlled by main house and an extra portable for your comfort. Our home is on the corner of hinds and hinds place which becomes kind of an alley. At the end of the alley is an apartment complex and columbus ave. Beacon Ave is 3 blocks from the rental. Two blocks from house is Jefferson Park. It has tennis courts, driving range, golf course, play ground, and walking paths. It's a great place to watch the sunset over downtown Seattle.
Space: As you enter, the 14’ ceilings and arches invite you into the main area. Comfortable chenille sofa and velvet rocking chair. Flat screen TV hooked to Apple TV with remote. Victrola record player with several old records to play. The kitchen is fully stocked with spices, tea, coffee, sweetener, pots, pans and sharp knives. Water filter pitcher in fridge. Unit not comfotable for children under 9 years.
There is a queen size bed and closet in main bedroom with a door for privacy. There is no window in this room. The second bedroom is an open loft above kitchen with a small window and ceiling height of about 4’6”. Most will not be able to stand in the loft area due to ceiling height. It too has a queen mattress. Soft clean sheets and down comforter with down alternative pillows are provided. Lots of blankets, clean white towels, and plenty of cleaning/bathing supplies.
The view from the unit is facing deck and about 6 feet above the deck looking towards some landscaping. This allows plenty of privacy.
The deck is open to use. However, if either home owner or guest is having a private gathering, pre-notification/request is wonderful and considerate. Otherwise, shared space all welcome to use even if being used as it is plenty big to share. The deck furniture is comfortable, there is an umbrella, and chiminea to relax and enjoy. Neighborhood: Beacon hill is in the middle of early transformation. Lots of older homes being bought and upgraded.
Beacon hill is quintessential seattle. Very little homeless but a very diverse community. Both older couples and young families. It is LGBTQ friendly, family friendly, pet friendly. and primarily homes, with beacon ave having many restaurants and coffee shops. Beacon ave is about 4 blocks away from home and Jefferson park literally 2 blocks away.
What I love about beacon hill is very little traffic, lots of parking, diversity, restaurants, and convenient location.
Beacon Hill is a great centrally located neighborhood with sweeping views of downtown and Puget Sound. The airport is less than 30 minutes away by light rail. You can also reach T-Mobile Park and Centurylink Field in 15 minutes by transit or a 35 minute walk.
Columbia City is a 5 minute drive. This up and coming neighborhood has small shops and restaurants to try. The Royal Room has live music most nights mostly jazz.
George Town is 5 minutes away as well. Many breweries, pubs, restaurants to explore.
North Beacon Hill is about an 8 minute drive to downtown, 10 minute bus ride or take the rail. Red Apple Grocery store is 3 min drive, 8 minute walk, or there is a PCC in Columbian City. Beacon hill itself is a great walking neighborhood. But not many small shops.

Why they chose this property
This sweet little apartment has 14' ceilings in living room with windows looking out over deck. You enter at the bottom of stairs right before deck into your private apartment. Our home is about 7mins from downtown or stadiums and about a 8 min walk to the light rail. We are right off of I-5 exit so getting to home is a breeze. In the summer we open up the large deck which is a beautiful place to sit with a glass of wine or tea. But mostly, the apartment is well equipped, comfortable, convenient to seattle attractions and shopping.
What makes this property unique
on request we have an EV charging station for your use. Plenty of street parking. And your sweet pup is welcome.
