Thanks so much, Helene! These cottages sure are in a great location, and we're glad you had a great weekend!

Thank you so much for sharing your wonderful vacation experience for everyone to see! What a fantastic time for you and your family and we are so glad you were able to enjoy this condo to its full potential! We look forward to hosting you again for your future Maine Getaways!

Linda, Just to set the record straight and factual …. We are happy to hear you found the unit very clean and beds comfortable and sorry to hear of you other concerns. We realized your stay would be challenging when you informed us you were using the TV in the living room for lighting in the evening because you thought the table lamp bulbs were burnt, when in fact, you simply needed to turn on the wall switch to have them come on and to hear you had not notice the other 4 lights in the ceiling of the same room. The same was true with the lamps in the bedroom; one simply needed to turn the wall switch on to have them work. When you called in a panic at 7:30 AM one morning that the bathroom was too dark because of one burnt bulb, we had someone at your door within 5 minutes to replace the one bulb even though you still had two other good bulbs still working. As to the cost of the unit there are NO hidden cost, or additional cost, to use the pool. You were provided a clear detailed quote at the time of your booking indicating the rental cost, the $50 check-in fee (the association charges us) plus the tax on the unit. There are no additional cost! Our records also indicate your were clearly informed (upon your inquiry) of the short steepness in the walk as well as the 7 “regular” steps to get into the unit. We pride ourselves in accurately describing our units to our renters as we work hard to meet everyone’s expectations. We do consider our unit “close” to the pool and is less than 300 feet away. Unfortunately, when the expectation is to have the unit be poolside, one may consider this far. The distance is also comfortably away to insure privacy and quietness from any pool activities from the unit. As to the toilet paper we are clear in our contract, the information provided on line, and our welcome letter, that we do not provide paper products including toilet paper, paper towels, paper plates, etc…. but we do leave a few complimentary rolls to have when you first arrive. We are truly sorry we did not meet your expectations as doing so is extremely important to us. We suppose, with over 100 five star reviews with all our units, getting our very first 3 star rating isn’t so bad. This review only makes us realize, expecting to satisfy everyone completely is a little unrealistic. We apologize for your inconveniences and sorry to hear we didn't meet all your expectations.. All the best, Mike & Pam

Chris, Thank you once again. Mike & Pam

Margarita, Thank you for the review and the business. Both are very much appreciated.

Linda, Thank you so much for the kind word and wonderful review. More importantly is that you all had a wonderful vacation. Pam & Mike

Karen, Thank you for the wonderful review. We are thrilled to hear "this is our happy place" as we work hard to make it so for everyone. Come back soon. Mike & Pam

Deborah, We are truly sorry to hear your comments. In the 9 years we've rented this unit this is the first time anyone has had issues with cleanliness. In fact, if you read the reviews on all four of our units (133 current reviews) you will find the complete opposite. Most renters explicitly compliment us on the cleaning. The fact we've sold the unit has nothing to do with the cleaning. As to the sofa we ordered a replacement (before we even thought about selling the unit) about 6 months ago that in fact just arrived three weeks ago. We realize the sofa is faded but we can assure you the sofa is not dirty as it was just steam cleaned at the end of June when our winter renters departed and as we do annually with all our furniture. We pride ourselves in the quality and cleanliness of all our units. Ironically, the only other 3 star review we've gotten was from you last year complaining about water pressure. We apologize if we did not live up to your standards as we work very hard to please all our clients. Well on the bright side, with the unit sold you won't have to worry about the condition of our unit next year. Thank you for you comments and we wish you a wonderful remainder of summer. Mike & Pam

Kyley, Thank you for the review. Sorry about the smell but it appears it was something in the garage that was immediately taken care of. Mike & Pam

Marcia, Thank you. Mike & Pam

Kristie, Thank you for the review and yes there is much to do in just a short walk away. Hope to have you back soon. Mike & Pam

Thank you

Diane, Thank you so much for the kind word and wonderful description of the unit. We loved having you and we too look forward to having you back soon! Thanks again, Mike & Pam

Karie, Thank you for your review and information about the table and chairs. Without input from you we wouldn't know this and will definitely look to upgrade. Thanks, Mike & Pam

Deborah, We are sorry to hear about the water pressure and wished you had said something while you were here. Upon seeing your review and investigating it appears someone parked one of the bikes in the garage and partially shut off the valve. It was a simple fix. We are sorry this may have impeded your stay with us. Mike & Pam

Christina, Thank you for the kind words and wonderful description of the amenities. We hope you come back soon. Kindly, Pam & Mike

Sherry, Thank you for the review. We too agree the location is very convenient. We hope to see you again next year. As to parking there is free overnight parking close by if you need more than two vehicles. Thanks, Mike & Pam

Darlene, Thank you for the review. Mike & Pam

Pete, It's always a pleasure to have you and your family stay with us. Even though we have 4 units after these few years our loyal guest are highlights in our summer. Thank again for your business. Mike & Pam

Chris, It's always a pleasure to have you back. It was nice seeing you both and thank you once again for staying with us. See you next year! Mike & Pam
