Host was courteous and prompt. Old house so it had some strange smells that we didn’t know about prior to booking. House was a little worn - ripped/torn window shades, missing paint, scratched walls. House was clean and had quick access to highway and Eastown
Nice house located on a busy street. Beds were very comfortable, sheets and duvet are soft and clean. Convenient to so many attractions. Family of eight stayed a weekend in May for KCAD graduation. Walked to Fulton St Farmers Market. Timely communication with Lexis allowed us to check-in early.
Hi there
This is the first I’m hearing about a gas smell and that is post stay, if you ever smell gas that is an emergency and we would need to be notified.
There is a diffuser in the home which can be unplugged is this maybe the smell you were referring to?
The lower level seemed like it had some newer updates to windows. Side note, the extra blankets are under the TV in the drawers. Found them the 2nd night. Extra pillows are in the bedroom closets. The upper level could use some TLC around the windows and air vents mostly. It was clean but had a damp or cat smell to it so if you have allergies or sensitivities keep that in mind. Location was walkable to the market, but everything else required a car. Uber and Lyft were pretty reasonable. About 15 or so to Acrisure which is why we were there for the weekend. Plenty of room for the 7 of us. 4 bedroom, 3 with beds comfortable enough for 2 each and the couch in the living room on the main floor will easily fit 2. All in all, for the price, I would stay again.
Spent the weekend with family as we celebrated our son’s graduation from GVSU. The home is historic and more than comfortable for 7. Clean and all the necessary amenities. Walking or short drive to restaurants, bars, and coffee shops. We will stay again!
The location was close to everything we wanted to do, the house had everything we needed - even some games and a speaker. The home itself was beautifully decorated and comfortable beds and couch! Host was so easy to communicate with and friendly when we spoke on the phone. Definitely would recommend your next stay here!
Perfect house for our bachelorette weekend! There was 8 of us that fit comfortably. Lots of room to get ready and hang out. A great neighborhood close to downtown and other areas.
The host called to let us know the rental was available early. really appreciate that service. We were doing our family Christmas and it was great that the house had a Christmas tree all decorated.
We loved our visit at Lexi’s rental. There were 4 of us visiting and the property was perfect. The location was great and was close to great restaurants, The Meijer Gardens and the Zoo. I highly recommend this property for anyone interested in a great place to stay while exploring Grand Rapids.

So happy you loved it! This was my favorite house of mine that I’ve ever lived in because of the proximity to everything hope to host again in the future!
Got great restaurant recs from our host - Linear for dinner, San Chez for lunch
We walked on Saturday around the corner to a great farmers market and coffee shops 5 minutes from the property.
Home was centrally located to all downtown activities. Just a block away from the farmers market which was a nice treat! Parking was plenty. Home was tastefully decorated, clean, and well stocked with amenities. Beds were comfortable and nice that there were multiple KING size beds vs full/ queen.
Stayed at this property with friends for a wedding weekend – it comfortably slept the whole group, looked exactly like the photos, and was in a great location – walkable to Mad Cap coffee and other cute shops. Lexi was very communicative and check-in was a breeze! Thanks for a lovely visit to GR.
We rented this property for the weekend as a family to attend a wedding. The location was near a farmers market and food/coffee shops which was great for walking but the house the road is on is a bit busy with cars. Parking wasn’t an issue for us though. The house was exactly what we needed for the weekend and gave us plenty of space. I do think the house could benefit from a deep clean and some landscaping. There was quite a bit of leaves/foliage in the driveway and backyard. Overall the stay was great.
We checked into this property and discovered that the air conditioning was not working. We ended up spending both days of our stay communicating with the host and waiting for technicians to come and attempt repairs. Unfortunately, the issue was never resolved, and we were not compensated for renting a home without air conditioning, despite temperatures being in the 80s.I specifically chose this property because I was meeting family and wanted us all to stay together comfortably, so this was especially disappointing. There were also several maintenance and safety concerns. The upstairs bathroom door locked us inside because the handle does not work properly. Additionally, the side door leading into the house would not close or latch at all, which meant we were unable to secure the house overnight.Overall, I am very dissatisfied with this experience. The lack of air conditioning, combined with the maintenance issues and the absence of any compensation, made for a very disappointing stay.

Hi Melissa
I’m posting the response below to your request of a full refund or you would leave a bad review. I’m so sorry that there was an outage l. We did refund a portion for the first night
Hi Melissa,
Thank you for reaching out. I completely understand that the air conditioning issue was frustrating and I sincerely apologize again for the inconvenience.
As soon as we were notified of the problem, our 24/7 emergency HVAC service responded that same evening. Unfortunately, the repair required an electrician, who addressed the issue the following day, and our HVAC technician returned to restore cooling by approximately 1 PM.
While I understand the first night was uncomfortable, we acted as quickly as possible to diagnose and resolve the issue and therefore will not be offering an additional refund at this time.
We encourage all guests to leave honest reviews based on their stay experience. As you may know, Vrbo’s review policies prohibit reviews from being influenced by compensation requests or offers. We appreciate fair and accurate feedback that reflects the overall stay and the efforts made to promptly address any issues that arose.
Thank you again for staying with us.
