This is a nice property nestled in between two hillsides. There is a fireplace and you are pretty close to Franklin, which we spent a lot of time in. Everything was clean and even better - the beds were really comfortable. I do recommend this property.
This was a great little house and had everything our family needed for our long weekend in the mountains. The property was beautiful and my toddler loved having space to run and explore. Everything was spotless when we arrived and there were so many thoughtful touches that made the house special. We had a great time in Franklin and look forward to visiting again.
Comfortable, wonderfully unique, and perfect accommodations for my sister and me. The house was equipped with everything we needed. This will be our first choice upon returning.
Everything was great. The porches were as clean as the house, which was spotless. The location was convenient to town and tourists attractions. We went to relax and rest. It was peaceful and very relaxing.
The house was immaculate. Mary and Walt are excellent hosts. They don’t bother anyone and they are always available if and when you need them. If my mom and I are still around next year (she is 96 and I am 75) we will stay there again. The cabin/cottage felt like home.

Thank you! So glad you and Mom got to enjoy each other and the mountains together, making memories. See you next year!
This place is beautiful!! So cozy and had everything we needed! There were even dog bowls for the fur babies! My dogs enjoyed the open space and loves the creek. Everything was super clean and the owners are so nice!
This home is gorgeous and in a perfect location for exploring South Western NC. The home was clean and comfortable. The hosts were available via text to answer questions and provide suggestions for activities but respected our privacy as well. We would 100% stay here again.
We had a wonderful time at this property. The split bedrooms worked out great for our family. Nice location and really enjoyed the area. The host was fast to respond and gave us good restaurant and gem mining options. Check out nearby Waynesville if you get a chance.

Thanks for the review, Tracy. Glad you got to Waynesville! Hope you were lucky and found a few gems while mining.
This VRBO was just perfect for me, my son and DIL. The property is beautiful and a great location. No issues what so ever. Mary was easy to reach if I had a question and we will be booking this location again.
This was our second stay in this lovely cottage. Well appointed, charming and close to everything. Love the layout which affords privacy to both couples. We look forward to returning. Thank you!!

We loved having you again. Look forward to seeing you next year, or maybe before.
We enjoyed this beautiful and well-appointed cottage while visiting Franklin. Our pups loved the spacious yard, and we enjoyed picking fresh blueberries. Lots of nice outside spaces — front porch, breezeway, and back patio. The hosts were warm and helpful.
Very cute, "not so tiny house". Two couples had plenty of room and privacy with one bed and bath across the breezeway. Great location for our needs, close to everything and on a paved road. Looking forward to returning.

We’re glad you had a good time and enjoyed the cottage. Hope to see you next time!
The cottage was clean and well maintained. Everything we needed was there. The location was ideal with a small babbling creek at the back of the property. The main living are was separated by a breezeway with the second bedroom and bath in a separate house, very unique and great for couples. We will stay there again.
Beautiful property, excellent amenities, easy access, comfortable beds and close to everything we wanted to do. We’ve been visiting this area for over 10 years and have rented various cabins/homes. This was by far one of our best choices! Definitely plan on rebooking this place.
This property is clean, well stocked, quiet and private. The 2 separate homes are separated by a nice breezeway. I felt at home and loved the design. It was close to downtown Franklin and was a good central location but had a country feel. The host was thorough and had the place well stocked. The privacy that the homes afford is great as well. Would definitely stay again.
The cottage is lovely, with everything you need for a short stay. The split plan, with one bedroom and bath separate from the main cottage was perfect for our adult daughter and her 2 small dogs. The large lot with stream through the backyard is peaceful.

We had an excellent stay over Memorial Day weekend. The cottage sits on a beautiful property with a detached second bedroom that we actually preferred sleeping in. The main cottage was gorgeous and appeared recently renovated and had all the supplies one could need. The hosts Walt and Susan were very communicative and welcoming. We had an issue with the grill one night, and the owner promptly came over and invited us to use their own grill next door. We also had a great time getting to chat with them by the fire pit one night. We will absolutely stay here again on our next visit to the beautiful mountains of North Carolina.
