Very beautiful large home. Great location and only a 10 minute walk to the T(blue line). We enjoyed the view of the bay and watching the planes arrive and takeoff from airport, unfortunately you can also hear them. I didn't bother us though and we would definitely stay there again.
Such a unique, thoughtful home. Lots of space and vintage. Very kind, communicative hosts. Home is old, so a little stuffy but open windows fix that. Great location near the Orient Heights T station (metro), & beautiful view on the water of the airport. Overall, perfect place for a friends weekend.

Very comfortable, conveniently located, and full of history and art.
Boston natives were very hospitable, friendly and fun. We were able to pack a week's worth of activities in the short time we were there. It would have been just as nice to hang out at the house and enjoy the ambiance and views.

Awesome home for our traveling needs
The house was absolutely beautiful and the rooms fit our needs for 7 people staying there . Location of the home was perfect for access to the "T" so we didn't have to rent a car. Nelson and his wife were very accommodating and could answer any questions we had. I'd highly recommend their home for a stay in Boston.
Flew into Boston for a few days. House is 10 minutes from airport (huge plus!) but not close to subway system so we ended up using a lot of Ubers. Great view of the airport which was more fun than I anticipated. Cool old house with great character.
It was great. Interesting period house. Across an inlet from the airport - kids loved watching the planes. Very convenient to the blue line (free because Sumner Tunnel is closed). We did everything on our list of Boston things to do - and more!
Everything was wonderful. Top notch. The only thing I would change is to have a shower curtain for the shower. It ended up being fine without one, but could be a shock for some people at first. But even without a shower curtain, I would stay there again! Great old house, full of character, and so fun watching the planes take off and land over the view of the water. Wonderful hosts!

It felt like home!
Thank you so much to the Emmons', you were incredible for working with us! This home is better than ANYTHING I have stayed in to date and I can't say enough. Comfortable beds, easy drive, down the road from an awesome bakery and seafood. The view was to die for and the neighborhood felt safe and cozy! My 3 favorite rooms: the master bedroom, the kitchen and the sun room! It was close to the train but Uber is a cheap and quicker way to commute too. What you see isn't what you get, it's better! I am already talking my hubby into returning with the family (I was there for a conference). But if you want to stay in Boston without the bustle of Boston, this is your place! Did I mention the view, lol). Thank you both a million times over, your home is superb!
Beautiful house in a great location. Very close to the T to get into Boston. There are also restaurants around the area. We went to Salem as well and it was an easy trip to and from there. The hosts were very responsive and I would definitely stay again.
This is a great place to stay. We enjoyed every bit of it. The house is extremely welcoming. The sunroom is just a great place to relax and talk with your family and watch the airplanes leave and land at the airport. The house is so well built that you do not hear the planes at night. The rooms are spacious and there’s plenty of DVDs and games and books
We had a great time here. The house was as described. We had everything we needed and the location was great with a short walk to the T and a view of the water. We loved watching the fog roll in and out with our morning coffees. We would gladly come back for another visit here.
We recently stayed at this property for my daughter's college graduation. It was a great space for 8 adults, fabulous location, and great owners! Highly recommend!!
The location of the Villa is absolutely stunning. We were staying as a family to support 2 of our sons doing the Boston Marathon. The transport to get around the city was great and we used a Charlie card for the 7 day stay costing just 22. The Villa is a fantastic place to stay and we were greeted by Nelson and his lovely wife and they told us the history of the house and all we needed to know for our stay. If I could rate more than 5 out of 5 - then I certainly would do. It is one of the nicest places we've ever stayed at on several city breaks over the years. Highly recommended and thanks for sharing your beautiful Villa with us. Kindest regards.
Such a quaint and peaceful neighborhood with beautiful views of Boston skyline and very close to the beach. The house was very spacious and accommodated us quite well. The only complaint for us would be that there’s only one shower. With 5 guys working manual labor, that was a challenge, but it worked out. Also, there’s no hot tub. Just a bathtub with jets. Everything else was simply perfect.
The young boys absolutely loved the sun room and watching the planes take off and land. They also loved the beach combing. I loved the full access kitchen. And Nelson and Madeline are the dearest hosts.
Loved being on the waterfront and seeing the planes. Loved the sunroom and balcony. Loved being near the Boston T line and only 10 minutes away from Boston.
We enjoyed staying at this home for a few days after a family wedding. It was a great location and we walked to restaurants and the beach. We also walked to the train station to go to dinner in Boston. The home was clean and beds were comfortable. Nelson and Madeline were delightful.
We had a great stay. The neighborhood is close to the T and easy to navigate. Being close to the airport was not too loud and gave the kids something to watch! The house was very clean and well maintained. It is an older home with lots of history to contemplate and beautiful architectural finishes! Two FYIs - 1) laundry is off site so takes a bit more planning but is easily accessible. 2) The hosts meet you there - they are lovely and gave great info about the house so not a negative, just an FYI. Enjoyed our stay and hope you will too!
Our family was delighted with the charm of this old house. The check in was great as the hosts welcome you and give you tips and information which is helpful. My husband enjoyed viewing the planes across the harbor. We enjoyed our stay in Boston! Thank you Nelson and Madeline!
