Located in a gated community this house was clean and well situated for our needs: the BNP Paribas Open, Joshua Tree Park, Salton Sea, Anza Borrego. Users should note that owner is a property management company; the one time we needed them they were responsive. During our nine night stay, the community swimming pool was closed and we could not get the hot tub to work (didn’t try to contact management). Here are other downsides: master br did not have fitted sheets on the bed—so annoying. There were no bath mats in either bathroom. No door on master bathroom—it’s en-suite so only a small problem.
Before we arrived we got a message from management that supplies were a starter set and tenants should be prepared to supplement. We had plenty of paper towels and toilet paper but there were only two half-filled boxes of tissues when we arrived. For two people for nine days we just squeaked by. Inexperienced VRBO users, we found this message kind of cheesy, like management was more interested in getting by with as little as possible rather than assuring a comfortable stay.
Bottom line: we would stay here again, and for Coachella fans this is an excellent location.
