First off it was a good stay. Family had fun. An overall good experence. A few things noticed is the place was a bit stuffy, and the fridge smelled like fish. Front door and restroom door would stick.
Other then that it was good.
The property we had rented turned out to be unavailable, someone was living there. The host took us to a different property, showing us a one bedroom, creepy apartment instead of a three bedroom townhouse.. It was in a totally different neighborhood than we were looking for. He could’ve contacted me immediately when I made the reservation to say the property was unavailable. Instead he tried to beat us into a different place.
The location was good and the check-in process was simple. The decor was nice. However, there were several issues with the property that were not evident from the photos. The property has 1.5 bathrooms, not 2.5. The bedroom electrical outlets did not work; instead, there was an extension cord run through the drywall connecting to a power strip. Some of the doors were installed upside down. The railing at the top of the stairs was very loose and unsafe. Leaning against it would cause it to collapse. The cabinet doors were mismatched, some of which were nailed shut. The fridge smelled like fish. The outlet for the coaxial cable in the living room was fake. The wifi worked but was spotty.
There were three of us staying at the property, my 80 year old mother, my sister and myself.
The sheets in the middle bedroom had dried blood stains, as did the comforter in the first bedroom.
My sister got bitten by a mystery bug while sleeping in the end of the hall bedroom the first night.
Also in the same room, the bed is positioned over the vent, making it extremely hot.
The bed is bolted to a board on the floor, making it impossible to move.
The temperature appeared to be controlled remotely, as that we were unable to cool the house when it got heated.
Cleaning was half done.
There were plenty towels and NO wash clothes.
There was hair in the sink, on the bed and sofa.
The door was difficult to open and lock.
To sum it up, the living conditions were substandard.
I COULD NOT in good faith recommend this property.

Hi there,
Thank you for staying in that place
I would like to tell you a little about myself.
I have been a physician graduate from medical school since 2005, and practiced for several years then reshaped my career to public health that I love so much. I graduated in public health from Drexel University where I learned healthcare research and publication. I also learned soft skills like being kindness, respect, compassion, honesty , giving a constructive feedback to any business and high emotional intelligence. I love meeting new people traveling, discovery, learning something new, more interestingly I admire beauty, everything beautiful like nature, places, human beings are my passion. My childhood was a little bit painful but since l learned we have to forget the past and focus on the future it's the best pathway and keeps my mental health in good shape. Actually I'm an independent healthcare researcher and businessman, Where I learned that starting a business takes a lot of effort, sacrifice, time , sweat 😅 and hard work.
After carefully reading your feedback first of all I didn't want to respond but right now I believe it's the best time.
I have a couple of questions I would like to ask you if you mind.
Are you a physician? or a phD holder?
What makes you choose that property?
Did you find nothing positive in that property?
Do you own or rent a property?
Thank.
