Padaro Sands is a beautiful beach home located on the sandy beach next to Padaro Lane. The home is located inside a gated community shared with two other properties.

The 2 bedroom/3 bath gated house offers great ocean, coastal, and mountain views. It has a wonderful upper deck and lower deck for entertaining, grilling, and watching sunsets and dolphins passing by! Lights under the deck shine out onto the sand and the surf to illuminate the beach at night. Your private stairs lead down onto the beach and to the water.

The living and dining rooms are well designed to enjoy plenty of space for relaxing and dining while offering commanding views of the Pacific Ocean. The living area is colorful and comfortable and is equipped with a Flatscreen TV, Blue Ray/DVD, Sonos Sound System, and a gas fireplace.

The gourmet kitchen has all Viking and Bosch appliances, granite countertops, and a skylight to add lots of natural light. It is fully equipped for easy family meals. The house eludes a casual coastal lifestyle and is perfect for small families who enjoy luxury on the sand or a romantic getaway for that special occasion. We supply games, videos, sand toys, 2 beach chairs, and two patio tables with umbrellas! Just pack your suitcase and be among one of our repeat guests. Enjoy a beautiful outdoor Hot Tub overlooking the Pacific Ocean! SO ENJOYABLE

The master bedroom has a king bed, walk-in closet, flat-screen TV, a workstation that overlooks the ocean, and an en-suite bathroom with a tub and a shower.

The Guest bedroom has a new queen bed, flat-screen TV, and a bath with a Jacuzzi tub and shower.

Five Star location! On the sand, unobstructed views of the water and awesome sunsets!Home is clean, bedding was fresh and beds comfortable. Nice location away from the hustle and bussel in Santa Barbara, yet with close proximity to Santa Barbara as well as quaint, downtown Carpinteria. Definitely would stay here again!

Our stay was lovely. Right on the beach with a beach overlooking hot tub... just dreamy. The host, Spencer, was very responsive to questions and very kind. The property is very close to the train tracks, and near a road crossing so you can hear a loud train horn when the train approaches, esp in the back bedroom. It was a bit hard to sleep on the first night (a Saturday), but we noticed it less and less each night. Not sure if we got use to it or if there were just less trains the other nights.

We stayed 4 nights with our two kids. We paid over 1,100 per night. The management company was easy to contact. But given the issues described below and the price I expected much more. I would not stay at this rental again. There was a very strong mold smell upon entering the home. The entrance is right near the laundry room which is filled with a bunch of clutter. Many things in the house either do not work or are falling apart: filtered water faucet in the kitchen doesn’t work, rusted,worn out screens on many doors (makes them very difficult to open and close), rusted and falling apart fire pit, laundry machine detergent holder does not work, just a general run down feeling to the entire place (lots of rusting/moisture damage on all sorts of things like air vents, doors, etc). Oven seemed to not be operating correctly. Casago sent a serviceman to assess its condition, which we appreciate. Coffee maker had a mildew odor; we needed to clean it before using. The “2nd bedroom,” which is basically part of the kitchen with fogged glass separating it, no air vents (gets hot at night), has an awful bed,faces highway and train. Not designed for restful sleeping. Hot tub was at 94 and had some sand in it, also water level was low. Once again the serviceman did come out and vacuum it for us and added some water. Expect periodic loud noise because it is on the train tracks and a highway, which is subtly disclosed in the ad.

Great weekend getaway

The location was superb. We always had access to the beach even at high tide. The hot tub was so relaxing. The train horned about twice a day, but it did not seem very disruptive. The furnishings were comfortable and the beds were great. We would recommend it to a friend or stay here again.

AMAZING

We enjoyed our second visit to Padaro Sands and liked being right on the beach. The sounds of the ocean were very relaxing and the sunsets and sunrises beautiful. Nice layout of the house and we could see the ocean from the kitchen. Enjoyed going to Padaro Beach Grill for burgers/tacos/shakes nearby. We plan to come again.

House on the beach

Property was beautiful…unfortunately the hot tub was not cleaned properly. It had some sand and tar inside. We would definitely stay again!
