The cabin was clean inside and out. Very easy to check in and check out. Hot tub was clean and ready to use. All amenities were ready to use and taken care. Great stay for The Great Smoky Mountains.
My wife and I enjoyed our stay very much. Sitting on the porch in the rockers, listening to the creek and the crickets, relaxing in the hot tub--all things we don't have at home--made our weekend. The collection of movies on DVD contained several fine films, and the record collection included some of my favorite albums. We listened to some Tom Petty and Miles Davis and truly enjoyed it. We loved the view of the mountain, too!
Host was very friendly and easy to contactCutest lil cabin and the creek across from cabin was such a peaceful sound to hear while in the hot tub. Much needed time away on our 12 th anniversary we enjoyed our stay very much
The cabin was wonderful! There is no internet and very little signal so we had alot of personal time which was amazing. With so much going on with work and the world it was really nice to just relax and enjoy the simplicity of it. The dvds where older but still good. Bryson city is amazing!!
No wifi, no cable ,no phone reception. It was real nice for adults but we had a 7 year old and 10 year old. They got to see what the 80s was like.

Glad you got away for some peace and quiet and to disconnect from the world and connect as a family as our listing clearly indicates what a stay at our cabin is about.

Hot tub had to be the best part of it, so relaxing! Loved the bear theme throughout!
Everything about setting up our mini- honeymoon in the mountains was easy and straight forward. The details for locating the cabin were spot on.It was mostly peaceful, with the exception of a young man testing the limits of his dirt bike up down the street in front of the cabin. This is no reflection on the host- just our bad luck.
Absolutely stunning property with mountain views! Love sitting on the porch and listening to stream trinkle by as I sipped my morning coffee or wrote in my journal in the afternoon. Just be prepared for no wifi and not a very good phone signal which was expected due the location.
We loved the cabin. It was so peaceful and quiet. It was nice to get away and relax by a fire or in the hot tub. Lots of wildlife too we saw lots of deer and turkeys. Would definitely stay again!
This cabin was absolutely perfect for us and our two beagles. The listing was exactly as described, and communication with the host was easy and seamless. We loved unplugging with no Wi-Fi. The soothing sound of the nearby creek, along with the record player, fire pit, and hot tub, made it an ideal mountain getaway. We would happily stay again.
Property was awesome! Location was great. Could hear the creek from across the street. All the anemities were great. Not being bothered by phones, texts, or emails was great!!! Would definitely stay there again and probably will.

Thanks so much for the great review Scott. We feel blessed to have a space to truly disconnect and love sharing it with others.
This mountain cabin was cozy and perfect for the weekend! It was only 15 mins from the casino, where we spent most of the weekend at my niece’s volleyball tournament! The creek directly across the street was wonderful and being able to listen to it while relaxing on the porch was great! We didn’t get a chance to use the fire pit but it’s a great addition to the cabin! No WiFi can be an issue if you are not traveling with your boo thang but we brought a mobile MiFi unit and were able to enjoy some sports and Amazon Prime shows/movies. If you are cool with being unplugged while at the cabin this is the perfect spot to book!
Cabin was very cute and welcoming! The porch is super wide and nice for sitting and rocking in the chair. It wraps around to the hot tub! Andy was very easy to talk to, accommodating and kind. Would highly recommend the stay. The home is very cozy and clean. Drive way is pretty steep, definitely ideal if you can get the lay of the land in the light first. The porch does not have a shutting gate on both ends at this time. Highly recommend if you are looking for a little escape! The decor is tasteful, the furniture was comfy.
Bear Creek cabin was absolutely THE BEST!!! We thoroughly enjoyed our stay...it felt like home away from home ( without the stress if work ) The cabin is SO close to a ton of local attractions and has breathtaking views of the surrounding mountains and creek while relaxing in the hot tub
The host, Andy, was absolutely PHENOMENAL with his communication and seemed to always be available no matter the time...we will definitely be back for additional relaxation at Bear Creek!!
The cabin is as advertised. We enjoyed the hot tub and the large selection of movies. Recommend the Lincoln Lawyer it was our first time watching it and really enjoyed it. Great relaxing weekend away to unwind. Enjoyed the Fourth of July festival in Bryson City. Loved the front porch rocking chairs with the Mountain View and sound of the creek.

Thanks so much for the nice review Daniel! Glad you enjoyed a little mountain getaway at Bear Creek.
Cabin was very clean and had everything we needed in it. Only down fall is that the only entrance to the bathroom is in the downstairs bedroom (queen bed room). Cabin is perfect for a couple. Would highly recommend.

Thanks so much for the nice review Nicole. I’m glad you enjoyed your stay. Appreciate you mentioning the bathroom set up as well. Although the cabin has two beds (one being in the loft) and we’ve successfully hosted families and sets of couples) We specifically use the headline Romantic Creekside cabin near Great Smoky Mountains to promote it to couples as it’s a great and cozy set up to reconnect with your partner. Thanks again!
Cabin is nice, a little outdated with furniture but decent. Nice front porch that wraps around one side to where the hot tub is and access to the small fire pit area. The driveway is very steep, but paved and if you’re driving a 1500 truck or bigger it’s super tight parking and turning around to get down the driveway. We managed but not sure two cars could manage it. King bed upstairs was very comfy and bathroom is nice size with W/D hidden. My only gripe about the bathroom was the shower head that was installed was super low for us at 5’9 tall. It was very loose and wouldn’t tighten up. It hit my head a couple times until I held it. I tried to adjust it to bend a little higher but it was maxed out. Kitchen was stocked with all utensils and dishes and pots you need. We cooked breakfast all but two mornings. Grilled almost every evening. Description stated no WiFi and that’s correct. We did watch a few of the DVDs but we hit the bed early since we were tired from hiking most everyday. Location is not far from Bryson City, Silva, Dillsboro, Cherokee, Maggie Valley and Franklin. The creek was nice to hear but could enjoy it since it is across the road from cabin. There is no yard for my lab to run around in, we did manage to get in some frisbee time in the small clear area in front but it’s down by the road I was worried he would run out into it. It is secluded but there is a house very close to that property like right beside the driveway and they have small dogs and a cat.
Beautiful cabin with very nice features. Tucked away halfway between Bryson City and Sylva. Two nice areas to explore for shopping, food, and drinks. Host was very communicative and addressed questions and concerns we had in a timely manner. Plenty of dishes and utensils, but no dishwasher. Great selection of movies and records with a very nice stereo system and record player. Comfortable beds and couch. We did have some issues with reception. My partner and I both have Verizon. Looking up places to eat and visit and directions were difficult so I’d recommend anyone staying to plan ahead. There was one section of the cabin by the bedroom window where we could get two bars of service. Would stay here again
