The Midtown Retreat is a newly remodeled South Haven home just 3 blocks from Lake Michigan and 1 block from downtown dining, shops, coffee, ice cream, entertainment, farmers market, and seasonal ice rink. This prime walkable location gives families and groups an easy home base for beach days, downtown nights, the marina, trails, local events, and year-round South Haven fun.

After a day out, unwind in the private hot tub, grill on the patio, gather around the fire pit, or head downstairs to the game room with air hockey and foosball. Outside, guests can enjoy the patio, propane grill, fire pit, outdoor seating, private hot tub, and exterior Ring at entry, making it easy to relax before or after time at the beach or downtown.

Inside, enjoy a full kitchen, laundry, fast WiFi, Roku TVs, YouTube TV, central heating and cooling, an electric fireplace, beach towels, starter bathroom essentials, and a backup generator for added comfort and reliability.

This home was perfect for a few days away with friends in early March. The glassed in front porch was very cozy with a space heater to take the chill out. The hot tub was heated and ready for use. The kitchen is well stocked with everything you need. The downtown shopping area is very close. Highly recommend.

I was born and raised in Southwest Michigan, where my family has farmed local fruit for generations. Growing up here gave me a deep appreciation for everything that makes this area special, from Lake Michigan sunsets and beaches to orchards, wineries, small businesses, and the welcoming community that keeps people coming back year after year.

When I’m not hosting guests, I work as a local physical therapist, helping members of our community stay active and healthy. Hosting short-term rentals is an extension of that same passion for serving others. My goal is to provide a clean, comfortable, and thoughtfully designed place where families and friends can relax, reconnect, and create lasting memories.
