This was a fabulous place to stay with my adult sons to have a little fun together, playing games all weekend. Very clean and comfortable. Host was very responsive when I had a question. The only thing I would change is having light blocking shades in the bedrooms. Otherwise we loved it! bedrooms.
We hosted part of our large family for our daughter’s wedding in Grand Rapids. All were from other states and unfamiliar with the city. We had no trouble getting around from the VRBO house. The house was fresh and clean, and the beds were comfortable, as were the two full bathrooms. The departing chores were not onerous. The host was lovely to speak with and very helpful. We would definitely stay there again!
The place was very clean and had everything and more—coffees, snacks and candy. It sleeps more people than it seats in living room. I would say eight people too many but 4-6 ok.My other comment is that both full baths are on the main floor so people sleeping in the three bedrooms upstairs had to come downstairs. Overall, we were pleased as my elderly father used the first floor bedroom.
We came in town for GVSU graduation for our daughter.
The house was perfect. So many details from coffee, creamer, snacks, towels, extra towels, tissues, shampoo, hairdryer.
Too many to list to be honest.
Anything we needed was there and it was amazing.
We enjoyed our brief stay n this cute little home in an older neighborhood of Grand Rapids. The house was very clean and great little extras; water bottles in fridge, snacks in cupboard etc. The stairs going upstairs are a bit steep. The beds were very comfortable, nicely decorated. Overall great stay.
The house was just as expected and had nice touches throughout that made are stay even better than expected. I needed to contact the host at one point and she responded immediately.
Only downside is the street parking is almost always full and difficult to navigate at night but the driveway could fit probably 3-4 vehicles. It worked for our group to fit two SUVs with enough space for one or two more.
We will definitely stay here again if we return to Grand Rapids!
The property was so clean, cute and well appointed. All the little touches from the water bottles in the fridge to the coffee accoutrements to the umbrellas to the basket of bathroom amenities were all so appreciated. You thought of everything to make our stay comfortable (thank you)! And the location was quite convenient. Our uber to dinner in city center was literally a three-minute drive. I highly recommend.
Tracey literally thought of everything. I don't think I have ever stayed at another property that had so many thoughtful touches. Anything we could have wanted during our stay... it was there. 4 super comfy rooms and well-equipped kitchen and bathrooms. Even a giant table for eating and board games. He perfect home away from home!
Our stay was great, easily the most comfortable beds I’ve slept on in any rental. Tracey was an amazing host letting us check in early and check out late. If we ever make it make to GR we’ll be staying here again.
The house was great, clean and close to downtown grand rapids. No bathroom upstairs but that was not really a big deal at the end of the day. Beds were comfy and house is nicely decorated. Would rent again if we ever want to come back to GR.
Honestly one of the better rentals I’ve stayed at!! The kitchen sink wasn’t draining properly during our stay but it seems the owners were unaware of this issue until I informed them. The neighborhood has changed a great deal-for the better-since I lived in GR years ago. The house is a short drive to downtown and a easy walk to some bars and Polish Halls.
This home was perfect for us! We came for a celebration of life for my mother and Aunt. My family and sister stayed here, my cousins stayed close by. Location was perfect, so close to restaurants, breweries , downtown museums. Nice clean home, very comfortable beds, easy parking. Plenty of amenities , and host reached out to make sure we had everything we needed.
We had a fun weekend at Dayton Station. The house was clean and well stocked with towels, linens, and toiletries. We stayed over the 4th of July weekend, and the neighborhood enthusiastically celebrated by lighting fireworks during the night. Otherwise, it was a great location with easy access to downtown Grand Rapids and only about 45 minutes to the beaches at Lake Michigan. We would visit again!
The house was super clean, however I missed the fact the 2 full baths were downstairs, so the guests upstairs had to trek down the stairs if anyone needed to use restroom at night time.
The neighborhood is questionable as a man approached us as we were sitting on the porch for a bag so he could empty the neighbors recycle bin to collect a deposit on the cans. Not something you see often.. it was interesting watching the neighborhood activity in the mornings from the porch.
The owner was very attentive as the code didn't work upon checkin and she immediately responded with a different code. Check-in was easy. The house was clean and tidy.
We did advise the owner the ice maker did not work during our stay, so hopefully that has been repaired. Other than that, everything worked nicely at the property.
The location was an easy drive to downtown and we did walk to a coffee shop nearby.
It was a nice stay, not sure I would stay here again because of the fact both baths were on main level, which was inconvenient for upstairs guests.
This was a very well thought out rental. Everything we needed to feel at home was available to us. The home was nicely decorated, very clean and comfortable. We stayed the weekend for a wedding and the location was only a 6 minute car ride from Downtown.
Our host was great at communicating and provided us with all the information we needed for a great stay.
We would highly recommend Dayton Station for anyone looking for a comfortable stay in Grand Rapids!!
This was a very nice place to stay. The rooms were spacious. All the beds were comfortable. The kitchen had everything we needed. Nice little private yard.
We had a group of 5 gather for a girls weekend out in Grand Rapids. This location was perfect-- easy to get to downtown, cozy and comfortable. It fit our needs perfectly. The home was clean and very welcoming. We loved our stay here and would happily return.
This property was great. We were in town for our daughter’s wedding and didn’t want multiple hotel rooms for us and the rest of the family who was from out of state. Worked great. Plenty of bedrooms and close to downtown.
Well and accurately described. Four couples were comfortable in the house. Very good neighborhood. Directions were excellent. Would stay here again and recommend to others!
The house was clean and well stocked for our stay. The owner made remembering the codes easy and the parking was in our own driveway. Loved the character of the house too! We would rent again!
