This listing was everything it advertised. Close to the downtown attractions without the downtown chaos. The home is exceptional and communication with the host was very easy and quick. This is definitely on my return list for my next getaway. Couldn’t have asked for anything better.
The house is really nice and comfortable for the area. The neighborhood is questionable at best. We had to go around a blockade where SWAT team was actively engaged with a suspect the next street over. That has nothing to do with the property itself just an incident that occurred in the neighborhood. Other than that it was peaceful and quiet.
The property was clean and comfortable with easy access to historic downtown. I travelled with my service dog and he was very comfortable in the yard. Gabriel was welcoming and easy tocommunicate with. We had everything we needed during our short stay. Checkout was super easy without a long list of chores for us to do. Definitely recommend.
Great location to get to pretty much anywhere in St Augustine. House was fully stocked with whatever we needed and everything was really clean. Would highly recommend staying at this property
We enjoyed or stay. Everything was clean and there beds were very comfortable. Which was good since we were there a week. It was quiet, and close to everything.
Our family spent the new years at Seashells house, and we were able to bring our dogs. We enjoy the weather, cooking out in the backyard (we brought our small grill) and sitting by the fire pit. The house is spacious and yes, very clean, and well stocked. The only thing we didn’t find was kitchen scissors ;) Additionally the house is very close to all the attractions in the area. There is a Publix nearby to get groceries, other markets would not have what you need. The communication with Gabriel was good and on target. We will definitely recommend this property.
Gabriel is a great host, very accommodating. The house had all that was promised. Location is very convenient. I would certainly stay again. Thank you Gabriel!
As long as you don't mind the occasional train passing by this is a nice quiet location. It's just far enough away from everything to get a good nights sleep but close enough to not have to waste gas to access the city and beaches. Will book again here for sure!
Area had a lot of construction going on -- some noise in the morning. Looks like the area is being revitalized. It would not be considered the best part of town, but we had no problem. House was claen and well stocked -- overall a good stay -- we would use again
When I arrived at this house, I went in and heard loud music and went to the back/side door and opened it and there were three adult males hanging out in the yard drinking alcohol, laughing, and there was loud music coming from various sides of the property. Clearly, at this time, I felt very unsafe and left immediately. I called the host, Gabriel. Had a hard time having her call me back and then we texted back and forth. I explained what was happening and she told me that there was no one in the yard, even though I was looking at them. In a later text, she told me they were probably the neighbors and she could maybe make them leave. I had already secured a hotel as I had to be at a rehearsal that afternoon. She treated me as though I was not telling the truth. Told me it was safe and I should just stay. I was involved in a wedding that evening and the next evening and had to go at 5pm that day and find a hotel nearby with vacancy to stay in which costs over 500 for the two nights at such a last minute booking. I talked with her after the weekend and she agreed to refund the cleaning fee of 99.00, but wouldn't even consider the other 414.00 I spent on her VRBO that was unsafe. VRBO then informed me that I would have had to advise them within 24 hours of the problem to help me with the refund, but I tried to work with the host first, which I see now was the wrong thing to do. NEVER rent without seeing where you will be staying.

None of this is true at all. First and most importantly home is safe for any body to stay. She was very rude, racist and bigotry. She was cussing and insulting remarks on the phone.
