Welcome to Newport! Maryann & Ken are local hosts that enjoy staying at the house during off-seasons. They also love participating in the community and enjoy the many fairs, festivals, and events held in Newport throughout the year. Favorite likes are simply strolling around the neighborhood to admire the unique architecture and the beautiful gardens (and the TREES!). In addition, they are home builders so the rental house is always well-maintained and clean.
Why they chose this property
Annandale Cottage is within a short walk to Easton's Beach, the national and beautiful Cliff Walk, and Bellevue Ave historic mansions. Groceries, shopping and restaurants are also less than a 10 min walk. Annandale is located in an estate area that allows easy access to downtown without the heavy, bustling tourist traffic. Newport is a very walkable town and also a great area to ride bikes.

PARKING! Roomy driveway allows you easy off-street parking - Newport is a popular tourist destination and parking is not always easily found on the older streets. You can leave your car here and walk to many attractions. Annandale is on a quiet side road with a front porch facing the woods, a large kitchen and an outside shower to help wash off the beach.
