We came with tween kids. The beach was within walking distance but you had to cross a major road. But, there was always free parking right by the beach. The area was much less touristy than a lot of places. The beach was much less crowded than lots of other places we have stayed. The kitchen was not super well stocked with cookware but plenty of dishes and silverware. It is a very convenient location.
