SOLAR added April 2025! Perched on one of the highest peaks on St. John, the views from Villa Nesta are breathtaking. The large deck overlooks Coral Bay, Bordeaux Mountain, and surrounding islands. On the other side views extend towards Tortola, St. Thomas and the North Shore of St. John. Both sunrise and sunset are enjoyed from this beautiful spot on Ajax Peak. The spacious deck features outdoor seating for relaxing or dining. There’s even space to practice your morning yoga before hitting the beach.

Villa Nesta is a modern one bedroom, one bathroom home with clean design features and updated amenities. Floor to ceiling windows in the great room make this cozy villa feel open and bright. The bathroom features a gorgeous outdoor shower where you can immerse yourself in the sounds of the island. Air conditioning throughout keeps it nice and cool although not necessary with the sliding glass doors that open up to welcome the cool breezes in. A romantic and comfortable retreat for couples or a couple of friends. Comfortably sleeps 2 with a Queen/King sized bed and can accommodate a third guest using the sofa bed in the living room. A paved driveway leads to a large and level gravel parking area.

The amazing tropical air and stunning views will leave you wanting to return and stay longer year after year.

Power is provided to St. John via an underground cable from St. Thomas. Our power supply is not always reliable and power outages are not uncommon. They are typically short lived, but can last for a few hours. These outages can happen with or without warning from the island’s power company, known as WAPA. We will do our best to keep you comfortable and informed. Antares strives to make your villa stay as comfortable and trouble free as possible. Please understand that power outages are out of our control. Please note, water will not work during an outage. There are no refunds for power loss.

Beautiful views panoramic!!

Beautifully decorated. Peaceful atmosphere. Coffee on the deck. Solar powered. A 4WD is needed. What an adventure staying here with my 2 friends. Highly recommend this affordable, Villa Nesta!

Supreme relaxation

Villa Nuesta is the perfect spot for solitude and relaxation. Easy access to all the beaches and trails. Loved the deck at night to watch the full moon and reflection in Coral Bay.

Gorgeous Villa with Better Views

This villa is beautiful and kept up very well. The views on both sides of the villa are some of the best on the island. The communication from booking to arrival to departure was also fantastic. My wife and I stayed here for our honeymoon and could not have been happier with our selection!

Perfect Couple's Villa on St. John

We've made several visits to St. John and Villa Nesta is the perfect house for us. Great central-ish location with easy access to both north and south beaches, Coral Bay, and Cruz Bay. Views in nearly all directions. Nicely outfitted and maintained. Perfect size for a couple. Will be staying here, again, on our next visit.

Wonderful place

The view is spectacular. Bed is comfy. WiFi works well so we streamed a couple of movies. Secluded and private location yet 15 minutes max from the town and beaches. We loved it. Btw. For a nice hike and the best beach try Ram Head Trail.

Wonderful!

This is a beautiful property on a great part of the island. It sits on a hilltop overlooking Coral Bay, and the views are phenomenal. Coral Bay is much smaller and quieter than Cruz Bay but still has five restaurants and a couple markets -- perfect if you like less night life, less traffic, easy pace! This location is also very close to the northern beaches which are oh so beautiful. The hosts are very helpful and communicative, and available by text for any issues that may arise. The only downside at all is the driveway. It's not for the faint of heart! Be prepared for a rugged, steep road that you really will want a Jeep to access. It ends with a three point turn to make a very sharp turn on a super steep section of narrow road. It takes some courage! For me it was definitely worth it, and I think many of the appealing properties on the island have adventurous roads and driveways to contend with!! I would definitely go back, and this is the kind of place where I am almost hesitant to leave a review because I don't really want word to spread. :-)

St John villa

The villa was well-apportioned and a lovely place to find some solitude. The place was great to get to north shore beaches as well as multiple trailheads. I enjoyed staying away from the harbors but having access to restaurants and having your own kitchen. The place was modern and perfect. Outdoor shower, views, deck, and kitchen were excellent.

Truly a 5 star+ place

The view is epic ! It doesn’t get old to watch sunrise, sunset and star gazing at night. The backyard where you grilled has another spectacular view. Karen and the virtual assistant (Kay) responded quickly to any questions and issues. The place is a little hard to find at night because it’s not on google map, but once you get there, you will experience the beauty. This is the place to stay if you are looking for social distancing. We will definitely return. This is my third time to St John and we continue to be amazed the many beaches and hiking trails we can visit.

Highly Recommend!

This is our third trip to St John but first time at this house. I will definitely look to stay here on our next trip. The house and property are so well maintained. The views are spectacular. The host was great with recommendations and the guest guide book was the best I have ever seen.

Gorgeous Views

Villa Nesta was a perfect cozy one bedroom cottage nestled up on the mountains with gorgeous 180 degree views. The inside was clean with very cute vibes and modern furniture and appliances. There are floor to ceiling windows all around. The deck was a perfect spot to enjoy our morning coffee and the outdoor shower was so fun and unique.

Best place we have stayed on STJ!

The views are incredible and there is wildlife everywhere! Deer walk by your bedroom window each morning. The house is very clean and simple and has everything you need to cook- with plenty of space.

Fantastic!

The house was great. The inside has all the amenities you need and the deck and accompanying view is gorgeous. We also really enjoyed the Coral Bay community and found the snorkeling there better than most of the north shore places we visited. The property management staff were also great and very responsive. It is a bit remote which we really enjoyed but if you had not planned on renting a vehicle to get around you might need to do that. The only shower is an outdoor shower which was great until a storm came through for a few days then it was a bit harder to find a good time to go outside to shower. All in all a fantastic trip at a great property!! Would definitely do it again!

Beautiful Property

Villa Nesta is a beautiful property. We loved how close it was to the North beaches and stopping at Columbo's on the way was awesome! A few light bulbs were burned out, but it was no bother for us. We enjoyed the new construction and contemporary feel. We'll be back!
