Exceptional Stay in Hilton Head

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was spotless. I was very happy with the location. I was very satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We rented for 10 days. The home was beautiful. Extremely clean and matched the photos and description perfectly. It is a great location with easy and short walk to a wonderful beach access. You can bike to almost anywhere within Sea Pines. We had a need to ask questions of management office. They were helpful friendly and prompt. Peaceful, relaxing and just what we expected.

Loved it!

Great house for our family beach vacation. Easy access to the beach and the Salty Dog. The house was very clean and well stocked when we arrived. The pool was also clean. Management was very helpful when we had a question about the Wi-Fi. We would definitely choose this house again.

Spotless Renovated Home in Great Sea Pines Location

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: This is a beautiful home with spacious kitchen and living space. The beach path is a quick walk across the street, and we especially enjoyed the refreshing backyard pool. Bedrooms and baths were updated and very comfortable, and the whole home was spotless when we arrived. As always, Coastal Home & Villa was professional and responsive.

Nice Property

This property is in great shape and in a great location on the island. Would definitely come back if given the opportunity - all the amenities were there and the kitchen was well updated. One thing to note, many states require a fence around a backyard that has a poo,l but that's not the case here. If you're planning to bring a pet, this is important to note, we just assumed one would be there. Didn't see that called out in the listing

Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Beautiful house but had a terrible musty smell and odor Had to wash all clothes again several times once home. Sliding door locks were in total need of repair. Great!!! Location for near south beach of HHI. Must cross busy street to gain access to bike trail and beach. Home very clean except very musty odor. Could not use garage or listed downstairs area due to no walls under home. Handicapped folks cannot enter home with the house on stilts and large front and back stairs to enter. Nice and well maintained pool. Lacking nice patio and pool area furniture. Needs updating outside furniture.

We're sorry to hear that aspects of your stay didn’t meet expectations. We haven’t previously received comments about a musty odor, and haven’t been able to reproduce it, but we take concerns like this seriously and will continue to monitor it closely. Regarding the sliding door, it does have a kick lock that operates securely—slightly different than a standard handle lock. The garage is available to guests and includes a ping pong table and outdoor shower, with slatted walls for privacy. We're always happy to provide more information in advance to help guests understand the layout, especially for accessibility needs. The home does have stairs due to its elevated design. Since your stay, we’ve power washed the pool deck, porches, and outdoor furniture. We’ve also ordered two additional pool lounge chairs that will be arriving shortly. Thank you for your feedback—it helps us continue to improve the experience for all future guests.

Great Rental

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: This newly remodeled house is outstanding, accommodating 6 adults very comfortably with easy parking for 3 vehicles. The cathedral ceiling great room is spacious and perfect for hanging out. The kitchen is beautiful and we cooked several meals "in". The beach access path is nearby and the walk to the beach was not too bad. We spent a lot of time in the home's private pool. It's a quick bike ride to the Salty Dog Cafe and South Beach Marina. Additionally, we experienced great communication and support from Coastal Home & Villa.
