This 3 level Edelweiss condominium is slope-side and one of the best places to stay on the mountain. Think of putting on your skis right at your back door and begin skiing. No elevators, no roads, nothing but the ski slope.

Gather around the cozy fireplace while enjoying beautiful views and begin making memories with your family and friends. Completely remodeled with new stainless steel appliances, granite counter tops, and 2 Jacuzzi tubs.

Summer activities in the area include hiking, biking, fishing, four wheeling, jeep rides and rafting on the Animas River. A visit to Mesa Verde National Park and a ride on the historic Narrow Gauge Railroad to Silverton are exciting daily activities. Dalton Ranch, Hillcrest Golf Club and Glacier Club provide beautiful mountain golfing. If you are a music lover, a concert at Music in the Mountains is a "must", just 5 minutes from the front door! In addition, Purgatory has many daily activities such as zip line, alpine slide, hamster bubble, panning for gold, and a bounce house for the little ones.

In the Winter this unit is directly on the slope of Yellow Brick Road trail and is one of only 12 Edelweiss condominiums directly on the ski slope. Enjoy the best skiing or snowboarding, then at the end of your day, ski to your covered patio, step out of your gear, and step into your vacation hideaway. Out your back door the slope now turns into your backyard sledding hill.

The non-skier will have a wonderful and exciting time as well. Snowmobile tours, dog sled rides, sledding, tubing, and the incredible stargazing night tours. Of course, there is always the great shopping, fine dining, art galleries, and the Durango/Silverton Narrow Gauge Railroad.

This home is dog friendly. Approved Dogs are allowed with a non-refundable fee per pet based on size/type. Please let us know about your pet(s) when inquiring or making your reservation.

Ski Trip

Property has a nice appearance, but there were several issues with the property and were conveyed to the manager. The last day was very aggravating. We advised the property manager of an issue and the last day workers arrived to work on the roof. All we heard was loud banging and drilling. Very annoying when you're trying to relax after skiing.

Nice place!

The place was as advertised, with fairly easy ski out. Early in the season, the run to ski in wasn't open though so you had a hike back uphill to the unit. The only other negative was how small the kitchen and den were. It got a little cramped at times, but overall, very nice!
