Our family of seven stayed here to attend a nearby wedding. The home is lovely. Clean, comfortable and the views are terrific.

Extremely disappointing. We traveled all day for this long-awaited trip. On arrival, we removed our shoes as requested, surprised to step on food crumbs all over the kitchen floor. As we explored the home, we also found visible hair on the floors, counters, sinks, and even on the bedding. The toilet seats had pubic hair on them. Cobwebs on the furniture, debris from dead flowers on the table, dirty smudges on the cabinets, and layers of dust and dead insects on the window sills, all suggested a long period of inattention. Yet the toilet paper had been folded to mimic a serviced room, indicating that the cleaning crew had been there. I immediately contacted the host to report the issues and requested a full refund due to the unhabitable conditions. The host refused, offering to refund only the cleaning fee and send the cleaning crew back — offers that were woefully insufficient. A remediation of this degree would require hours of deep cleaning and laundering all bedding — time that we lacked given the late hour and our fatigue. We could not stay under those conditions and were stranded in that remote area with no other lodging options, as it was a holiday weekend. We were forced to abandon our vacation and drive hours away to stay with relatives.
The house was nicely furnished and is generally comfortable although the bed in the main floor MBR is high making it a challenge to get into. The bed is comfortable once you get in.The signage of the address could be made more visible and the driveway has a couple of potholes that you might consider filling.
