We loved the community. But, the stone steps are not ideal for seniors due to the spacing the the absence of hand rails. We had other issues (i.e., not enough towels and problems with toilet flushing), but they were addressed very quickly.
The house was very clean and stocked with necessary items. Heating worked very well while we were there. My only complaint was that it got a little warm in the loft area, but that is science and no fault of the host or reflection on the home. We would definitely stay here again! The host was very responsive and getting into the house was very easy.
The property and our stay was great. We had a wonderful time visiting Hemlock Falls. I do have a few suggestions/recommendations, *a toilet paper holder would be nice,* hand towels and hooks for the bathroom, *couldn’t find sheets and blanket for fold out bed,* welcome book stated instructions for washer was in drawer in kitchen…no instructions found.* Instructions for the remotes for the HVAC system would be helpful. *There were no Kleenex in the house.

Thank you for our stay with us. We appreciate your suggestions and we'll do what we can to remedy those for future stays. Please come back again anytime and stay with us!
Our hosts were Wonderful. The entry door lock was low on batteries, and David wascthere to replace then within 5 minutes! The new batteries solved the issue. I would recommend a night light in the bathroom, it gets Very dark at night. The tiny house was Beautiful and inviting, and tiny. Everything we needed was right at hand. Bring groceries with you as there is not a major grocery nearby. The mini splits worked Great once we figured them out. *(With help. ) All of the neighbors are Great, friendly, helpful, and welcoming.
Great place to get away for a much needed break. Very quiet. Visited Helen, Clayton, Tallulah Gorge State Park etc My wife and I don't want to leave. Hope to do it again soon!
The tiny home was perfect and had everything we needed and wanted. We loved the community and everyone was so friendly and helpful. The beds were comfortable. The shower was wonderful and it was a terrific place to stay and we will be back!
This was one of the cleanest properties we’ve ever stayed in! The community is well kept and friendly. We will book again if we have the pleasure of returning to the area.
We enjoyed our stay at Sugar Mill Creek Tiny Home and found it to be a clean, cozy, and convenient base for exploring North Georgia. The location is excellent, just minutes from Lake Burton, Moccasin Creek State Park, Hemlock Falls, and Tallulah Gorge, and about 20 minutes from Helen. The tiny home is well stocked with pots, pans, and kitchen essentials, and the large refrigerator was very useful. The shower had great water pressure, and the washer and dryer were a big convenience during our stay. We also enjoyed the cute front porch, the peaceful creek, and the picnic areas along the creek. The neighborhood is quiet, and the friendly residents made the area feel welcoming.A few things to note: this is a very small tiny home with limited storage. There are no closets, dressers, drawers, nightstands, or dedicated space for suitcases and clothing, which can be challenging for longer stays. The upstairs kids' sleeping area could benefit from a fan or additional air conditioning during warmer weather. The area gets very dark at night, and additional lighting on the front porch would be helpful. We also experienced inconsistent Wi-Fi, especially in the evenings, making TV streaming difficult at times. The toilet occasionally required more than one flush. A small private backyard seating area would also be a nice addition for guests seeking a little more outdoor privacy.Overall, this is a clean, charming, and well-equipped tiny home in a great location for enjoying the area.
Excellent chance to get away from it all! Clean, cozy, with friendly neighbors all around. Brought my kids up for a couple days and had a great time at nearby parks and trails.
I thought the house and community were lovely. The tiny hose had almost everything you needed. It was wonderful to have coffee supplied. It could use a few helpful things. Like a toilet paper holder, some hangers, and some tiny nightstands for the bedroom. It was great having a dishwasher and a washer and dryer. I would definately stay again.
wonderful space. Perfect size for a couple. Well stock kitchen with most everything you need to cook small meals. Easy check-in and access. Far enough away from everything for quiet but close enough to get to everything you want to see and do well in the North Georgia mountains.
