Vacation Rental Home in Birch Bay-with Great Views of the Bay!

Birch Bay a seaside escape with everything you need in this rental house you will not want to leave. Feels like your at home, when you are on vacation.

The house is located in a gated community and just a short walk down to the water.

The great room has a electric fireplace, a full size sofa, love seat, rocking chair and two recliners plus coffee table, game table, side tables and plenty of decorations for the season.

The dining room has a table that can seat 8 comfortably and you can move the game table to the end of the dining room table to seat even more. There are an arrangement of napkins and place mats for you to use to make your meals a special occasion. Besides the table there is a bar with bar stools that can be used for additional seating if needed.

The kitchen has everything you need from a wide variety of spices to cooking staples. There is place settings for 10 (dinner plates, salad plates, bowls, glasses, mugs, wine glasses, silver wear) plus, serving bowls, cook ware, bake ware, mixer, blender, coffee maker, can opener, toaster, and much, much more.

In the media room there is a Couch/Queen hideabed along with a pub table and stools. There is a flat screen TV with VCR, DVD and Blue Ray Player. There is a large assortment of movies for you to choose from and a trunk full of games and puzzles for the occasional rainy day.

The deck runs along the entire back side of the house and has amazing view of the water. There is a Gas BBQ, table and chairs and outside entertaining furniture there for you to use and enjoy the wonderful sunsets.

The master suite has a wonderful view of the water, doors to the deck and a lovely sitting area along with TV and a queen size bed. The master bath has both a jetted tub and separate shower.

The guest room has a queen size bed and is decorated in red, white and blue and also has a tv.

Bunk room has a quaint closet with day bed with trundle makes a king size bed. The room is decorated with kids in mind with surf decor.

If more sleeping accommodations are needed there is a queen sleeper sofa in the den.

The house decorated with kids in mind. For your convince during your stay there is the a play and pack, high chair, booster seat, kid movies, games, books and toys. (Stroller, wagon and beach toys available upon request)

Just 15 miles north of Bellingham and 1 hour from Mt. Baker Ski area. 10 minute drive from the Canadian border and close to Bellingham Airport. Birch Bay is a wonderful seaside community with restaurants, gift stores and the water with miles of shore line to walk along. Just 15 miles east is Lynden a quaint Dutch farming town with plenty of antique shopping and golf to go around. Bellingham has all the amenities including shopping, movie theaters, museums, parks and much more. Or if you want the city Vancouver, BC is just a 45 minute drive north and you can see Broadway shows, sporting events, or have a picnic in Stanley Park it is just a short drive.

The home welcomes you when you walk in the door with its cute decor. It is stocked with everything you need to be comfortable. The view of the beach is great. Owner communication is excellent.

Reunion at Birch Bay

The house was all one would expect in a VRBO. Immaculate, well-stocked kitchen and bathrooms, great location and very secure neighborhood. Wonderful view of Birch Bay and the house was close enough to walk to the waterfront. Good communications with owner in setting up the rental and clear instructions on what to do when entering/leaving the property. Only issue was challenge figure out the TV streaming services (multiple remotes) but we had plenty of other activities to do while there.

Comfy home

Our weekend was relaxing! Beds were comfortable! View was lovely! No back yard but the whole beach was in 3 minute walk! It was more than we expected! Highly recommend!

Birch Bay Treasure

The Beach House was absolutely perfect!! First to note is the exquisite view from the huge back deck; the bay was breathtaking at sunset. The pictures on the site are great but the home is even better in person. The living room is bright, large with the open concept kitchen. The sky-lights in various rooms just bring an added warm that invited the visitor to settle in, grab a book, and relax.....ahhhhhh! The kitchen is stocked with everything we could have possibly wanted. The beds were heaven to sleep on, rare in many rental houses. The den with the French doors was brilliant for those times when someone was watching television and others wanted to chat in the other room. The house was in perfect condition and spotless. The décor was beautiful and tastefully done. We found that this is not a rental 'house' but a HOME that the owners graciously share with lucky visitors. We have already reserved the home again and can't wait to return!

Feels like home!

We visited this beautiful vacation home with our 3 young boys and planned to spend some quality time hanging out at the home and also playing on the beach. The house was wonderful on both fronts. Surrounded by a beautiful golf course in a gated community, we were pleasantly surprised with the beautiful view of the bay and a very short walk to the beach. Low tide was at 11 AM and our 3 young boys had a great time splashing around in the bay and catching little fish in the tidal pools! Back at the house, there was plenty of space for the boys to run around. Their favorite memory was the bunk beds and night lights - nice touch! My wife and I thoroughly enjoyed the jacuzzi tub in the master bedroom and the attention to detail in all the furnishings. The kitchen was well stocked with everything we needed and the BBQ on the deck felt like we could host several families! We could definitely tell that this was a home that the owners also spent their own time in. Thank you again for all the memories!

Come and sit a spell…

This place is an absolute gem! I had read all of the reviews written by happy families that have stayed here before I booked, and it’s all true! But there’s more. I booked this property as a getaway for my 92 year old Mom & I. She ended up having a bit of trouble with her hip, and needed her walker with her.There were only two small stairs to access the deck and front door. It was more than spacious enough for her to maneuver comfortably is this beautiful home, including the bathrooms! The very well appointed kitchen was a joy to cook in, and even wash up, as I enjoyed the technicolor sunset over Birch Bay through one of the many seaside facing windows. We could both easily step out to the *very* large back that runs the full length of the house, to enjoy dinner with a glass of wine before a beautiful sunset dinner. After dessert, I treated myself to a relaxing bubble bath in the jacuzzi tub before retiring with a book to the fluffy cocoon of pillows and blankets with the scent of water drifting gently in the sliding glass door. Sighs… heaven. I can easily recommend this place as home base for adventures in the area, or just as easily- a place to rest and restore one’s soul.

An amazing home: clean and well-furnished in a great neighborhood with a fully equipped kitchen and a beautiful deck that overlooks the bay. We never got tired of the beautiful bay views and amazing sunsets. In addition, Rich was an absolute pleasure to work with. We will definitely be back.

NYE in Birch Bay

An amazing experience in Birch Bay. The Ring of Fire, Polar Bear plunge, and many fireworks over the New Year Celebration. And this house was the center of it all.

Lovely Christmas Stay

We had a wonderful Christmas stay here. The house easily accommodated our family of five and a Christmas Eve dinner with friends. The bay and local businesses are an easy, short walk away. Rich and Coni are lovely hosts. We highly recommend staying here and look forward to staying again if we’re in the area.

One of the most beautiful and well equipped vacation rentals we’ve stayed in.

The home is well stocked with all the linens and utensils that one would ordinarily need. The supply of paper products was generous. The home is spacious and clean. The view from the deck is Outstanding and it should be featured with a photo. There are also ample deck furnishings. The owners do a great job with seasonal decorating. The entry information was provided several days early, which is very unusual, Richard is also very helpful and delightful to work with. It is most definitely a Give Star Listing and we will reserve it again.

Another fantastic stay

My Ladies Luncheon group likes to get away for a weekend once a year. At least 10 years ago (we've lost count) we discovered this wonderful house in Birch Bay. We don't live very far away (maybe 20 miles) but we might as well be hundreds of miles but without the travel time. We relax, enjoy the amenities of the house, the beautiful view of the Bay. It's all we need to refresh ourselves and return to our lives for another year. We'll be back next year!

Simply amazing!

3 couples from Texas enjoying the Pacific Northwest. The home was perfect - clean as a whistle, well-stocked with kitchen tools/towels/ games, etc. The location is prime … right in the heart of Birch Bay! We were delighted with our stay and highly recommend this property.

We love going out to Birch Bay for a picnic or a sunset, so when the opportunity came to purchase a house there we jumped on the opportunity and enjoy going to the house as much as we can.
