Beautiful scenery and great location. The check in and out process was easy and the house was clean. There are more instructions that we are used to but it’s totally manageable. The kitchen is well equipped, the beds are comfy, and the rooms are well sized. The view is stunning. We had a lovely time!

The house was in a great location and fit our needs for a weekday birthday getaway. It was a little more worn than it looks in the pictures but the views, rooms, and amenities were lovely and as described. There were clear signs of the past guests, especially outside, and the grill did not work, which we would’ve appreciated a heads up before we bought propane. We checked in the week after a pretty bad storm, so I get that it’s difficult, but I would have appreciated a little more preparation and communication from the hosts.
What a great relaxing time we had! Home was as listed and kitchen was fully stocked. Outside area is perfect for summer nights. What makes the home is the dock on the lake . Water was clear and we stayed out there all day swimming. Kayaks and noodles available right next to the water. Will definitely be back as it's dog friendly and perfect.
We stayed there with five people. 3 sisters and 2 husbands and a dog (who gave it 5 stars by the way). The view was gorgeous and we spent every morning and evening sitting outside!!! The 3 bedrooms all had comfortable beds. Albeit the upstairs beds are low, difficult for older people to get out of but quite comfortable per my sister. The bathrooms were excellent. The kitchen was good and had everything we needed for our stay. We did not utilize the dock as it was too difficult for some in our party to get there but a beautiful dock none the less. Our choice not to use it. We did not use the outside fire-pit but it was lovely. All in all we were quite pleased with our stay. The communication with the host was super and check in and check out was fabulous.

Sounds like a memorable vacation!! we are so happy all your family members, including the pups enjoyed!! thank you so much for staying with us
Even in winter, this home offers enjoyable family together time. The pool/air hockey/ping pong table was more than perfect and the living areas provided ample space for spreading out. Seeing deer along the hillside was a special bonus. We'll be staying here again!
owner is difficult to talk do. DOES NOT LISTEN. property furniture is HORRIBLE.OWNER find ANY excuse to charge you extra. Property is OLD, MOLDY, and picutures on web site SHOW PROPERTY MUCH LARGER than it is. The upstairs bedroom has a gaping hole in the celing covered by a plastic GARBAGE BAG.Again, furniture is horrible and the air hockey table takes up one half of the living room.

We just wanted to kindly point out to all our future guests who might be Reading this review that the person who left it actually damaged our property to the point where we submitted a claim, he left this review obviously because he was upset that he needed to reimburse us for the broken Murphy bed. He had unauthorized guests and a social gathering and left a lot of excessive garbage in our property. It was quite unfortunate to host someone like him.
We had a great long weekend. The house is nice with an amazing lake view. You have everything you need in the house and the property is clean. Thank you.
Truly a wonderful place! It’s rustic & has a few quirks but it’s very clean & comfortable. Nicely decorated. The game table is amazing! And the view is dynamite! We had a little trouble finding the house as google maps took us to the wrong place but Apple Maps is supposed to be better. This place is a gem. It’s in the country so be prepared for all that entails. All in all absolutely lovely! And the manager Katherine is great too!

What a wonderful getaway! We’re so happy you were able to enjoy all the house amenities, we work very hard to provide constant communication if you need anything throughout your stay, we are glad that you received that attention! Please come back to visit us again
Great views of the lake and wooded CT countryside. The kitchen has everything needed for preparing meals. The pool/ game table provided fun entertainment throughout our stay. Comfortable accommodations. It was also very easy to communicate with the hosts of this property, they always got back to us quickly when we had questions.
It's a cute little house with nice views of the lake. The downstairs beds were very comfortable. The kitchen was well equipped. I think it was probably just a one time thing but the dining room had a good bit of dead bugs and webs hanging from ceiling and upstairs beds had bugs on them where paper they had covering a skylight came loose. Wasn't a huge deal. I am sure they would have cleaned it up if we asked but we just toon care of it.The house itself was nice but could use some updating. The dock area was a mess but we didn't use it. The Azaleas outside were beautiful.

Thank you so much for staying with us! It’s the beginning of the warmer weather and a ton of bugs. Start coming out. We definitely try our hardest to stay on top of them and spray Everywhere so we can avoid any of the Lake bugs that come with this cabin.
