This stunning. remodeled craftsman style home, just a mile from downtown Idaho Springs, is an ideal place to enjoy your mountain vacation. The house is perched on a hill that affords unique, scenic views of rock outcroppings and the forest. Meander down the property to enjoy 100 feet of Chicago Creek frontage. The seating area on the creek is scenic and soothing. After a long day enjoying the countless, nearby outdoor adventures, relax in our open concept home with fully stocked, luxurious kitchen that opens to the living room. All three bedrooms are spacious, comfortable and include large closets, cozy bedding and blackout curtains for a peaceful night's sleep. Two of the bedrooms have ensuite bathrooms that are design magazine worthy! The private back deck backs to the forest and has a salt water hot tub, dining table f and electric barbecue. For your added enjoyment and convenience, we have a new washer/dryer, complimentary mountain bikes, fishing poles and a 2 car garage.

Close to downtown Idaho Springs and right off I-70, clean and smartly decorated with all of the amenities you need. The road up the hill is kind of challenging with a drop off, but easy enough to navigate once you get the hang of it. We didn’t use the hot tub, but heard good reviews. We were in for a wedding at North Star Gatherings, about 20 minutes away, up a mountain.

We had a great time. The property is conveniently located near Idaho Springs and easy access to Interstate 70. Many conveniences, plenty of room and a great hot tub. The kitchen is well stocked.

Perfect Mountain Home

This home is a gem! Beautifully appointed and the kitchen is well stocked with nice pans, dishes, and all the utensils which is not the case in most homes! The owner is absolutely gracious and very responsive! Beds are great and the hot tub was nice! I just can’t give this home enough stars! It is in a wonderful spot to explore the area without driving forever. Thank you for the lovely stay!

Beautiful property!

Beautiful clean property with a well stocked kitchen! Everything we needed & more! Communication with owners was easy. Close & conveniently located near town. Wish we had known Creek access was down steep stairs but we were able to drive around & access from the road~area around creek needs to be leveled out or maybe a crushed gravel path to fire pit would have been nice.

Well done Craftsman.

We attended a wedding right down the road and didn’t care to stay at the hotel in Georgetown where other guests were staying. We wanted to make our trip with our two grown children memorable and special. This house answered the call. It is very comfortable and well equipped. It’s built into the side of a very steep hill, so steps do come in to play. 18 steps from the front entrance to the living quarters. Although the lower level bedroom , full bath, and laundry room are only 3 steps up. I would not recommend it to seniors who have trouble on stairs. I’m 69 and had no trouble with the layout. Everything was as described or better. The only thing we didn’t see was the fire pit by the creek. The cost of two hotel rooms would have been about the same, but there is no comparison in what we got for the money. I feel my wife got lucky finding this property. And the property manager was a pleasure, according to my wife, to deal with. Would do it again in a heartbeat.
