Lage super, Wohnung na ja ...

Als wir ankamen, standen wir erst mal ratlos vor der Tür auf der Straße, denn zum vereinbarten Zeitpunkt kein telef.Kontakt zum Verwalter George. 20 Min später öffnete er! Das Putzen war noch nicht ganz beendet, aber wir konnten rein. Er war sehr nett und auch sehr bemüht uns alles zu zeigen und zu erklären. Die Sauberkeit war ok.Die Fotos im Netz aber irreführend. Die Wohnung ist echter Pariser Altbau, sehr verwinkelt und kleine Räume, der Putz rieselt zum Teil von der Decke und in der Küche, die echt gut ausgestattet ist, in den Kochtopf. Der Duschabfluss funktionierte, obwohl George sich unendlich um einen Klempner bemühte, erst ab Sonntagnachmittag( von Mittwoch an!!), das Bett war total ok und genug saubere Wäsche zum wechseln vorhanden. Die Toilette super eng, für uns ok, aber keine übergewichtigen Gäste bitte!! Die Lage mitten im Marais mit Bushaltestelle vor der Tür und Bäcker gegenüber wirklich ideal!! Supermarkt auch 5 Min. um die Ecke! George gab uns netterweise per Netz auch noch viele Tipps zum Essen gehen am Abend. Insgesamt sparsam möbliert, aber genug Wandschränke und Stauraum. Wir haben uns mit allem dann arrangiert und haben Paris intensiv erlebt.

Great localization

Nice and warm property. Bakery, supermarket, and metro stations nearby. Some minutes walk from Notre Dame and Rivoli Street.

Misrepresented property

Wow, this was a rough stay. As I was in and out of the apartment, I tried to make the best, but it was rough. All of the issues below I have photos, except of course the noise. Nightmare stay. -there was undisclosed major construction, causing toxic levels of dust and air quality. Full scaffolding covered the courtyard and the inner passageways. Workers began at 830am. -there was not a cover on the toilet window, so the workers could look in while I was using it. I asked for a cover Multiple times and it wasn’t provided. -the upstairs neighbors keep a schedule of midnight-730am to sleep. They are heavy footed. -there is water damage in the apartment. There were two requests for entry during my time to examine or make repairs. -there was not proper stocking of supplies (wash soap.) A friend had an emergency situation and came with her child with written permission of the owners. When she arrived, things really hit the fan. -when we changed the sheets, we found a huge yellow stain on the duvet. -the sofa bed didn’t have an appropriate mattress and did not stay flat. It poked up in the middle and was essentially useless, meaning you can’t sleep on it as is. -she deep cleaned for her comfort, and we located duct taped holes in the wall and pipes. The dust issues got so bad I had to vacate early due to respiratory issues, though the yellow stain on the duvet also made my skin crawl. The property manager communicated well but doesn’t do much to solve issues.
