Great little gem

The apartment is perfectly located for everything we wanted to do. There were tons of activities just a few steps outside our door plus easy access to the sights of Paris. The property manager was incredibly helpful and hospitable even made recommendations to what ended up being our favorite restaurant in the city. Highly recommend this booking.

The host is very responsive and very kind. Our only issue was the room was hot but there was a heat wave. The air condition just needs a vent as it blows hot air. But a good stay for 3 nights.

The room was comfortable, chest at end of bed is a bit too large and makes access more limiting.I was told 25 steps to apt. Which was accurate, however, very narrow and circular and in places rail is loose. Location was wonderful, owner is very responsive.Listing under kitchen states washer and dryer and there is a washer but only a dryer rack

Excellent location and it felt very safe at night when we did a lot of our exploring. The host was very communicative which was helpful. The washer/dryer was broken when we arrived and we were not notified which was disappointing as we had been travelling already for 10 days. But there was a laundry mat around the corner. There was a smell to the apartment - moth balls? After leaving Paris our clothing still has that smell…

The listing says that it sleeps 4 people but keep in mind that when you're 4 people the apartment is very small and very tight and want you start putting luggages in the room there's not much place to walk. If you're a family of 4 I highly recommend to book somewhere else because it gets frustrating after a few days. As well, this is an old building so there is no elevator, you have to drag your luggage up the tight staircase. The main reason we booked this place was for the location.

Excellent Stay

The location is wonderful. Steps to the Louvre, Palais Royale, and Galarie Vivienne. Chatelet les Halle is your closest metro station. But the apartment is a tucked away den from the bustle of the streets of Paris. A few tips: *It's the third door as you head up the stairs. *Watch your step as you head out the door. *There is currently (April 2024) construction in the building. Starting in the morning around 8. This also means the space lacks any natural light for the time being. *There's a lovely fromagerie and museum of wine below. *Around the corner to the right is a wonderful fruit market and a little further down is a tasty and busy boulangerie. *Kitchen is adequate for travelers but small for entertaining. *The entire apartment is parisian sized. Expect the size of a large hotel suite. Our stay was enjoyable and we always felt safe with access codes needed for the buidling.

So many great things to say about the apartment and the host of this property. Jola was very quick to respond to all of my inquiries both before arrival and during our stay. The apartment couldn’t have been in a better location. Easy access via all forms of transportation, exceptional shops and restaurants but most importantly, walking distance to many of the must-see museums. The apartment is well appointed with sheets, towels, pillows, blankets, soap, shampoo, dishwasher pods, tea, etc. very comfortable bed including the space efficient sofa bed that my very tall son occupied. As it can get very hot in the summer in Paris, we were thrilled to have a place that stayed relatively cool even without the air conditioner. We ran the AC infrequently and had just ran the fan which works perfectly. I would highly recommend Jola’s place for a couple or even 3 people for maximum comfort. Although it could sleep 4, it might feel a bit snug. Next time I’m in Paris, I will definitely build my itinerary around availability of this specific apartment.

Perfect location in Paris!

We couldn't have picked a more central or convenient location! While the property is small, it didn't matter much because we were always out and about. And it was very comfortable. Restaurants all around and easy access to all sites!

Great location for Metro stops, restaurants, bakery and cafes shops in 5 minutes. The host is very responsive to respond any questions. Nannbag is next to the apartment to store luggages , which is very convenient too. We had a great time in Paris. Thanks for hosting us.

Great stay in an excellent location

We spent a week in the apartment which was very close to the Louvre. We had access to many Metro stops from here as its close to Chatelet des Halles, just. Block from Rue Rivoli and 2-3 blocks from the Seine. We walked everywhere and had a comfy apartment to return to.

Convenient location

Very close to shopping and cafes. Hidden location. Cleaning person arrived at 8:30am instead of after check out. But all was fine. Hot towel rack was great!

Great for a short stay and if you travel light!

We booked Dec 16-19. The location was fantastic and we particulary liked Motors Coffee and Uno for Italian.Steps from the Louvre, it's a convenient spot. Tricky spiral stairs to the unit. We had heavy luggage which I would not recommend for this space due to the spiral stairs. If you travel light and have small bags, this may work for you.Beds are comfortable and the bath is functional. Host was responsive. Enjoy!
