About this property

This beautiful home offers all you need for your stay at the beach! The home is one side of a duplex located in a quiet neighborhood. The family room/ kitchen areas on the top floor offer beautiful ocean views from the upper deck. This area has vaulted ceilings, wood floors, and stainless appliances. There is a comfortable sectional sofa and chair to relax in front of the Smart TV, if that's your thing. The raised dining room table seats 6-8 with more seating offered along the Corian island. The kitchen is equipped with all of your cooking essentials! This floor also has a full bath and bunk room, which is great for kids. You will find a few games and puzzles too! The first floor offers the primary suite with large walk in shower and garden tub. This room opens to a private deck surrounded by island foliage. There are 2 other bedrooms and bath on this level. Below this is the carport/driveway, which can hold up to 3 cars. The storage closet houses beach chairs, umbrella, beach games & boogie boards. There is an outside shower and and also an area to rinse off. Enjoy hanging out at the picnic table & playing the tiki toss game! Please bring your own sheets & towels!

This is our much loved family beach house. We live in Virginia and my parents purchased this house so that they and their children and grandchildren, along with their families, can have somewhere wonderful to get away and see the water. My stepmother has vacationed at Atlantic Beach for over 60 years! Our home has only been rented to friends and friends of friends. This year we decided to open it up to more families so that they too can have the opportunity to get away for a week at the beautiful southern Outer Banks of North Carolina. Our favorite thing about Atlantic Beach is that it faces south instead of east. The beach is huge, pretty quiet and the water can be so clear with that beautiful emerald green color. The sunsets can be seen from our deck and are just amazing!

Why they chose this property

We love the location of this neighborhood and our home being just a block from the beach. We like to walk on the beach, but also on the island. Near our house is the beautiful Elliot Coues Trail that takes you through Fort Macon State Park. The foliage and views here are amazing! Also, wonderful restaurants and shopping are so close by!
