The house had everything we needed. I was traveling with older parents and the first floor layout was perfect for them. September is a beautiful time to see the Berkshires. Highly recommended.

Ayren’s home definitely makes our family’s top five list of places we’ve stayed with VRBO! House was exactly as expected, squeaky clean, and absolutely the quiet lakeside getaway we needed. Close to lots of restaurants and fun downtown shops, this vacation home checked all of our boxes. Returning to the quiet lakeside community after a day out hiking and shopping was an excellent end to our days!

Great location for visiting Tanglewood, Great Barrington and all of the Berkshires. We had some rainy weather so didn't get to take advantage of some of the house's features - a fire pit, a path to kayaks, etc. Lots of room to hang out and spread out to read, do a little computer work, etc.

Very comfortable. The host has thought of everything. There is more than enough room for our family of four to enjoy. Coffee/tea on the porch. A nice walk to the lake. We cook a lot so would prefer more dishes. Had a great stay and would definitely recommend!

Nice place and has everything you need. Worked well for our five adults. As described in listing. We did not use any other the lake stuff so cannot comment on life jackets, kayaks, etc. dirt road to get into property is a bit bumpy and narrow - just have to take it slowly to avoid holes, bumps, etc. very good stay. Would recommend!

The property was perfect for our girls trip of three women in their 60s going to Tangelwood to see Brandi Carlile. 15 minute easy drive to Great Barrington, a 5 minute walk to beautiful and clean Lake Buel, and fun to take a stroll around the neighborhood. Be sure to put in the right address. There are 2 addresses similar in the same area: Park St. and Park Avenue, I think that's it, so you don't get lost, as we did, in the dark. I slept in the downstairs bedroom which was perfect and private, great air conditioning throughout. The house had everything one would want and very comfortable, well appointed and decorated. Do not hesitate to rent!!

The cabin was well stocked and cared for. We loved relaxing in front of the fireplace and walking through the wooded neighborhood. Close enough to Great Barrington to make visit it not a chore and far enough to get away from everything! We will be coming back in the future.

Cute house with a gas fireplace less than 10 mins to Ski Butternut. Great for a quick skiing/snowboarding stay. I'm sure it would also be lovely in the summer months with the lake access. Host was quick to reply and helpful in getting us set up after a previous host cancelled on us last minute. The home is much closer to other homes than it appears to be in photos but the neighbors were all friendly. If you are booking with pets be sure to thoroughly read description and ask additional questions of host before pulling the trigger as we found some rules unorthodox but otherwise a great stay.

We had a wonderfully cozy stay at Pine View! Perfect spot to relax and play board games with friends for the long weekend. The house was very clean and the kitchen reasonably well-equipped to prepare the few meals that we didn't venture out for. Ayren was quick to respond whenever we reached out with a question. We enjoyed our time at Pine View Cottage.

Great stay

Stayed with family for a wedding nearby and had a great experience. Nice house, clean and comfortable and as advertised. Very comfortable bed. Remote location so it’s quiet and peaceful, and short walk to lake. Host was very helpful and quick to respond. Would stay again!

Great Getaway!

We had a lovely two weeks at the Pfeifer cottage. Everything was as promised. The location was quiet, but easy access to Great Barrington and Tanglewood. Two of our grandkids visited and they were in love with the spiral staircase! We way come back again someday.
