Tucked away in the forest in the Lower Alarka Community, Sweet Southern Comfort sits all by itself, giving you the peace and tranquility you've been needing.  This beautiful, large mountain home features large porches, both covered and uncovered, hot tub - perfect for a nice long soak after a day of activities, gas grill, and multiple sitting areas for outdoor dining or relaxation.  Inside is absolutely stunning, with floor to ceiling windows in the living area, river rocked fireplace, nice comfortable seating, and large flat screen tv with Direct TV service.  The kitchen is stunning, with granite counter tops, stainless appliances, and fully equipped to enjoy a nice meal right at the cabin.  The primary bedroom is a retreat all on it's own and boasts a king sized bed, gas log fireplace, tv, and private ensuite bath.  The bathroom has a huge tiled shower and double sink vanity.  Upstairs you'll find a gaming space with pool table, wet bar, and sitting space.  There are two additional bedrooms upstairs, both with queen sized beds, tvs, and closet space.  The bath upstairs features a standup shower.  On the basement level of the home, you'll find additional living space, an electric fireplace, tv, and queen sized bed.  There is also a bath on this level with tub/shower combo. Outdoors on this level you'll find the firepit, which is the perfect spot for s'mores and family time.

Sweet Southern Comfort is located less than a ten minute drive to downtown Bryson City, where you can find delicious dining options and boutique shops.  This lovely town is home to the Great Smoky Mountain Railroad, which features the Polar Express and Great Pumpkin Patch Express.  The home is also close to the entrance to the Great Smoky Mountain National Park in the Deep Creek section where you can find whitewater tubing, hiking trails to waterfalls, horseback riding, and is a great place for fishing.  The Cherokee Indian Reservation is location just a short 15 minute drive away where you can tour the reservation, visit Harrah's Cherokee Casino, or take a ride on the Parkway.  If you're looking for a bit of outdoor adventure, take a 15 minute drive over to the Nantahala River Gorge where you will find whitewater rafting, kayaking, and zip line tours.
