This house is well equipped with all that you could need. The A/C was out the first night but the property manager was quick to try to get it worked on.
We had an excellent stay at this property. Everything was clean, organized, and comfortable. The owner provided necessities as well as games and a really nice fire pit. The place is so cute! Highly recommended.
Barberry Cottage was the perfect choice for our visit to Kings Canyon and Sequoia National Park. The home was private, clean, and nicely decorated. The attention to detail and all the little extras was appreciated!!!
Great place to stay after when visiting the national parks.
Our family of four had a fun time staying here during our visit to the three national parks. The home was comfortable and clean. The kitchen was well stocked and there were enough windows to enjoy the surrounding areas. The property is well maintained, so my kids had fun playing outside in the front. I will definitely return
We are so glad we booked. The cottage is beautiful! Someone very thoughtful decorated and equipped it with everything you need. The surroundings are very peaceful and it was easy to find. We loved eating outside among the wildflowers or just sitting there stargazing. The hosts were very responsive. We would stay here again if we were in the area.
We thoroughly enjoyed our short stay at your lovely cottage. The place was so tastefully decorated and clean. The owner was very thoughtful and had everything you needed for your stay. There was a slight issue with the water but was addressed immediately by the owner. We would definitely recommend staying here on your visit to Sequoia National Park. Big stump park entrance was less than 30 min away.
We loved staying here! It’s a great, private location and the house was clean and well organized. You can tell that the owners put a lot of care into it and seem to have thought of everything. There’s even a baby gate and corn hole boards. The kids enjoyed all the books and board games upstairs. The highlight of the trip was watching a summer lightning storm roll through from the expanse of the upstairs window. We will definitely stay here again.
We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and were very comfortable. The kitchen had everything we needed, including a meat thermometer! There were outside games in the shed, a fire pit, bbq, and lots of birds! Inside, they had lots of children's books and toys, a bluetooth speaker, and comfy seating. The home was exceptionally clean, beds were very comfortable. There is one bedroom downstairs and the upstairs is an open floor plan with two twin beds and a queen. My only suggestion is to bring drinking water. The tap water might be just fine, but I was glad we had picked some up at the store.
We stayed in the cottage for 3 nights just before the thanksgiving weekend. It was a great stay and we really loved the place. It had everything except the TV, but we really didn’t miss the TV that much.
The owners were really helpful with all instructions on the stay as well as our trip planning 😋
We could cover a lot of the sequoia and kings canyon national parks just by following their clues. Thanks!
Highly recommend if you are looking for a real break from all the city lights and be with the nature.
This property was amazing. It was 30 minutes away from Kings Canyon and a great home base. Very secure and extremely clean. Loved the outside chairs, firepit and dining table. Anything you could need was found inside. The beds were comfortable and coffee provided was appreciated. Washer and dryer was a bonus. Decor and design of everything, made it hust like home. Thank you so much for letting us stay. :-)
