Enjoy sitting on your dock on Terra Ceia Bay, on Snead Island, Palmetto, FL. The studio faces East; great for watching the sun rise. There is a 'yoga' platform for stretching or sitting closer to the water looking for fish or watching both land and water birds. Stepping outside your studio apt, there are two seating areas with patio dining tables and chairs with up close and personal views of the bay as well as comfortable couch seating under a covered porch with fans. Emerson Point Nature Reserve is a mile away and includes fishing, observation tower and ancient Indian mounds. Go hiking or use the trails to experience a wide variety of coastal Florida wildlife and habitats. The park is
ideal for walking, biking, kayaking & paddle boarding. Bring your own "toys" and launch them here at "your"own dock. Snead Island is considered in the Southern Tampa Bay area,
and is near Bradenton, Anna Maria Island and Sarasota. Lots of waterfront restaurants, museum, planetarium, art center, Village of the Arts, Manatee River and its River Walk, beaches, parks, preserves, flea market, brewery tours, fruit farms...so much to do.
If you would like to get off the island, we are a close drive to Clearwater, St. Petersburg and Tampa with just a drive over the Sunshine Skyway Bridge.
We have waterfront and location, location!!! - we are close enough to all the major cities and attractions, but just far enough away to get a break and out of the tourist congestion!
