Four Season Vermont Getaway with Hot Tub

Quintessential Ski House located in Chimney Hill. Just 10-15 mins from Mount Snow & minutes from downtown Wilmington. The house is centrally located for you to enjoy winter activities like skiing and snowmobiling. In the summer there is nearby golf and hiking as well as water activities at nearby Harrison and Somerset reservoirs.

This generous home offers 3 large bedrooms and a loft, plus a bonus room in the basement. The master bedroom on the main level has a queen bed. The upstairs is equipped with 2 bedrooms and a loft. One bedroom has a queen bed, the other has a queen and a full bed. The loft has a large pull-out couch. The house has one full bathroom on the main level, 2 full bathrooms upstairs and a full bathroom in the basement. We have also recently installed a hot tub out back. Some other features are as follows: 10 flat screen TVs (5 in the basement alone) with streaming services, wood stove, butcher's block kitchen island, 8 seat dining room table, new appliances including a washer and dryer, gas grill, pool table, foosball, air hockey, standup arcade game with thousands of games, front deck, plenty of storage including a walk-in ski closet at entrance, usable yard, and ample parking with EV charger available.

Our house is in the Chimney Hill Community, which offers access to all the amenities including clubhouse, lodge, indoor & outdoor pools, hot tub, gym, locker room, bar, kitchen, theater, arcade, skating rink, tennis, basketball, volleyball courts, snowmobile & hiking trails.

Family Getaway

Property was as described, plenty of room for us all. Easy check in and good communication with owner. Downstairs game room and hot tub were amazing and enjoyed by the teens and young adults in our group. The clubhouse had excellent facilities. We used indoor and outdoor pools, sports courts and fished in the pond. Lots of hiking and water activities nearby.

Annual Holiday Ski Trip

We are a multi-generational family ranging in age from 15 to 80. The house provided ample room for everyone to have their own space. The teens in our group made great use of the game room and appreciated having the bunk room to themselves.The luxury of having four full bathrooms made getting ready for skiing in the morning a breeze! The gear room is a real plus and offers plenty of room for everyone's equipment.Adam was easy to communicate with and very responsive. Overall this is a great property!

NYE Stay

Our stay with Adam was fantastic. The house itself was exactly as described, extremely clean and the check in process was seamless. The entire time leading up to and after the stay we were easily able to contact Adam when needed and he was very quick to respond to questions or request. Our group all agreed the house was the best equipped rental home we had ever stayed in and had everything we needed and more. Using the community amenities was very easy and the location of the house was convenient to both mount snow and Stratton. Our main note was that the last .5-1 mile of the route to the house has a steep incline, it was fine for clear roads but if it snows it would be for vehicles with 4 wheel drive. Overall, this was one of our favorite home rentals and we would love to stay again if given the chance.

We enjoyed a birthday ski weekend immensely in the house. Adan was a great host and was super responsive to all questions. The house was clean and presented even better than in the listing. We were pleased with all the games and amenities, including the hot tub. The proximity to mount snow is fantastic and Wilmington is a cute little town that provided everything we needed to have an amazing weekend would definitely return.

We are lifelong skiers who have been coming up to the Mount Snow area for over 20 years. After renting a house for the 2022-23 season at Chimney Hill we decided to take the plunge and buy a house b/c we loved the area.

Why they chose this property

Chimney Hill checks all the boxes. It's centrally located...close to both summer and winter activities. It's less than a mile from the town of Wilmington, with all the charm of a small Vermont town, yet with access to restaurants, shopping and a supermarket. All of this and the neighborhood is completely wooded, being up on a mountain so it feels secluded.

What makes this property unique

Our house is perfect for vacationing. There is plenty of sleeping space, plus It has an open layout which is great for entertaining. The basement has loads of games and activities for adults and kids alike.
