We supply everything needed to enjoy a relaxing beach getaway. Spacious 1 bedroom apt with full kitchen and large living room with sleeper sofa. Enjoy the property grilling area. We have beach chairs. Umbrellas and beach towels for our guests. We believe we have thought of everything to make you visit stress-free and memorable.

Carter Vacations is absolutely terrible, almost zero return messages about issues, no return phone calls. The property is infested mice, the beach was closed and unusable, Carter vacations wouldn't return a message or even drop off a mouse trap, we caught 4 mice in 7 days. The bed and couch are terrible, what you'd get at a flop house. The furnishings and kitchen items are a mismatch of yard sale/flea market items. Two gas grills that don't work. It's a couple of steps below being a frat house.

Hi Joseph, We need to clarify the situation factually. Your reservation was for two months. Our cancellation policy provides a full refund only when cancellation is made at least 14 days before arrival. Once a stay has begun, there is no obligation for a refund. You chose to leave after a few days due to personal reasons unrelated to the property. Despite the policy not requiring any refund at that point, we still tried to work with you as a courtesy by offering to refund any nights that were successfully rebooked. That was a goodwill gesture, not an obligation. You agreed to this arrangement at the time. The concerns you are now raising were never reported to us during your stay. Had you contacted us about any of these items, we would have addressed them promptly. We cannot fix problems we are not told about. Claims about beach closures are outside of our control and are determined by local authorities and conditions. The home’s furnishings and amenities are accurately represented in the listing photos and are regularly used by guests without issue. It is disappointing to see serious allegations surface only after you were unhappy with the refund amount, especially when we already extended more flexibility than our policy requires. We stand by our handling of your reservation and wish you the best.

Indian Rocks Beach - May 2025

Great location and value. I have stayed at this property before. Looks as though there are still some exterior repairs being made as a result of the hurricane, but it did no affect my stay. WiFi information provided was incorrect, but I was able to figure it out by looking at the sticker on the device without contacting the property.

Great location

There was on going construction under our unit for our entire stay. We were not told about the construction or we would have changed our stay. The location is great beach and restaurants close but all the noise spoiled our stay. We did have trouble with water leaking from the refrigerator but management responded quickly.

IRB Getaway

Great location and communication with Carter Vacation Team. Place is a bit worn but very functional, only complaint was the property below was under construction and we found out 2 days before check in. The workers were fine, but frequently occupied the common area during the day. We also had work going on in other units which caused the power and water to be shut off for short periods of time. Hurricane did some lasting damage in areas, which is a tough thing for all in IRB.

Florida Fun

I’ve stayed here before. The only complaint is the sofa bed had no sheets and was not clean. I had to go buy some sheets before I’d let my granddaughter sleep on it. The only other complaint which is by no means the owners fault is there were some very loud and obnoxious guests that thought it appropriate to yell and cuss till 5 am. I will stay here again.

The apt was comfortable, clean and in a great location. The downstairs apt under ours was under construction. From 7:30 until 4:30 Monday through Friday the noise was very bad to the point we could not stay there during the day. In my opinion the apt should not have been rented during this construction period. We were not notified in advance.

Our stay was awful and service was nonexistent. We called on Wednesday and were told management would be calling us that day since that is when we left. My chats were not addressed at all. We are not pleased with the unit we rented. There are many things that need to be addressed. As a result we checked out Wednesday (after calling customer service) and would appreciate a refund for our last two days. Thank you Things to be addressed: Two doors are off the wall- hinges are not attached to the wall Food or something is smeared on bathroom wall-not clean Improper coverings on windows in the bedroom which all lights from adjacent buildings to come in all night. A dryer was listed and we don’t see one. Would be nice to dry clothes. The balcony is shared- this should have been noted. Also response to chat and phone calls need to improve. We had NO response. As of 1/8/24, 13 days from first contact with management, we have had no response.
