About this property

Bristol Sweet Spot: hot tub, king bed, walk or bike to town and beaches.

Our 1100-square foot home is an updated 1960s-style ranch. The house sits on 1/4 acre with shady front and backyards. We have three bedrooms, one of which is set up as a WFH office with hard wired internet. The office room also has a twin bed with trundle. Both the king and queen bedrooms have Smart TVs. Our updated home includes new appliances and central AC. We are ideally suited for a couple that likes extra space, two couples, a family or three single people wanting their own bedroom. Our private backyard has a relaxing deck, bbq and a year round hot tub (use requires a signed rules and liability waiver). We also have three exterior security cameras: one covers the driveway and the other two cover the front and back doors. These cameras protect the house when it is empty and also when we have guests.

Comfortable retreat near cute towns

The sweet spot.

This really is a sweet spot. House was extremely clean. Which is a big big plus for me. I loved the little conveniences in the house. The phone chargers in the bedroom, the basket of blankets by the back door for a chilly night. What a great place to stay. We will definitely be back.

Amazing Hospitality

Wonderful communication from booking until departure! Very clean and welcoming! Inside and outside spaces- great place to play cards and games, well equipped kitchen and beautiful bathroom( rain shower was so relaxing!) so blessed to stay this home to rest and relax between activities out and about with our friends in Bristol and Newport! The pictures don’t really do this place justice. The king bed was very comfy, the bath towels are high quality, the the EV charger charged our Ioniq 5 overnight. I really appreciated the little extras, like a fresh carton of half and half in the fridge, and everything you need to make s’mores and a fire at the fire pit. I had not noticed when I booked that there’s no dishwasher, but the hand washing set up at the sink was the nicest I’ve ever encountered. We drove the 30 minutes into Providence for Waterfire, which was really neat. The little downtown area in Bristol was a short drive, only about a mile away. We enjoyed brunch at the vegetarian friendly Beehive Cafe and went to the park on the water after. This is a nice place and I would stay here again. It is just off the main road and there is some noise from that, but it wasn’t a problem for us.

Vacation Rental Excellence

This house is perfect. Recently renovated and lots of attention to detail focused on making renters feel welcome. Stuff for the beach, grilling, and even making s'mores. There is a ton of stuff to do in and around Bristol but sometimes you want to stay home for a bit, and this was as comfortable as I've ever been in someone else's home. Highly recommended!

Fantastic location and great, small home!

The hosts did a fantastic job on this home! They certainly paid attention to detail - well-stocked kitchen, comfortable beds, chargers at each bedside for both iphone and android, bathrobes, towel warmer, toiletries in case any are forgotten, s'mores fixings for the fire pit, and some excellent treats left for us upon arrival. There is enough parking for at least 3 or 4 cars and the backyard is beautiful with old trees, potted plants, bunnies hopping around and the hot tub. Very comfortable for our party of 5! We had a wonderful weekend stay! Highly recommend!

Sweet stay at the Sweet Spot

This is a great place to stay if you want to launch anywhere around coastal RI or Cape Cod. The home was immaculate and the main bedroom had the most comfortable bed. The hot tub was so very enjoyable and we used it often. The host provided several oversize towels and flipflops. The firepit was also so nice to enjoy with the complimentary s’mores kit. Such a nice basket if snacks and fruit/cheese board at checkin was over the top. The town of Bristol and her surrounding area are so inviting. This house proved to be centrally located to everywhere we wanted to go. The host was very responsive to our questions during our stay. Thank you for sharing your home with us!!

The Sweetspot

First off. This woman 100 percent out did herself! Jill went above and beyond to make our stay amazing. The pictures are exactly what is was and some. The house was so clean and smelled so fresh as soon as you walked in. The extras....there were snacks and candies that my children were able to enjoy alongside the fridge that she setup with the essentials and an amazing charcuterie board with meat and cheeses. So welcoming with a board to welcome us. Jill sent up a whole itinerary with the all of the recommendations with the best spots!! Each room was set up with robes,towels, new bedding and extras if needed. We were also able to enjoy the smore basket that was setup for use with a firepit and chairs ..alongside the wood that she also included. The backyard was also so wholesome and cozy. My children enjoyed the ropeswing that was also setup along a great big beautiful pear tree. This property is 100 percent everything i dreamed of staying at and enjoying on our vacation. I recommend using Jill and will definitely be booking for recurring visits. Thank you for having us!! Five stars all around.
