Bear Claw Cabin was relaxing and quiet. It had a lot of space for our family to spread out. Quick drive to Lake Chatuge and enough stores and restaurants within a short drive.
Our stay was good. The cabin was one of the best we have stayed in; even our teenage grandsons thought so. The hot tub, pool table and the games were a hit. Our complaint about the property was the driveway; it had washed away in spots. It took us several tries to get out of the driveway at the cabin at first. After that we started parking at the higher drive/parking spot.Thank you,Roger Barker
Road up to cabin could use some maintenance, but typical for many mountain cabins. Water does have a high level of Iron and we did brink some drinking water.

SUV with AWD could not get up the driveway without issues. It needs to be graded. After trying it once we decided to park up the drive on a more level area but still was difficult. My 92 year old mother had a very difficult time getting to the car. Lugging suitcases up the muddy hill was no fun. The hot tub went crazy spraying water everywhere. The maintenance guys were attentive and fixed it for us quickly. One dish towel for a week seemed a little sad. We bought some. They replaced the broken toaster. I cleaned the cobwebs outside and swept floors upon arrival. Unfortunately there are some issues with the property. Beds were comfortable. Nice laundry. The people were responsive to the issues.
Beautiful home in a good location, easy to get to and very convenient to Hiawassee. 30 minute drive to Helen, GA. The home has many updates and has everything you need for a stay. Plenty of room inside and outside. The hot tub was a welcome feature after a day of outdoor activities. The road leading to the home is a typical unpaved, mountain road. Not in terribly bad shape, The unpaved driveway leading from the road to the home does need some work. It has to be navigated slowly and carefully, especially if you want to park your vehicle next to the home. There is an upper level parking area that is a convenient, short walk (about 30 feet) to the front door. I used this easily accessible area that enables you to drive in one end and drive out the other.

We rented this cabin because it had a hot tub. Upon arrival the tub was pretty much empty and looked disgusting. They sent a guy out to clean it and refill but apparently there's a hole in it. Floors were absolutely disgusting. Apparently they haven't mopped in quite some time. Still no answer on a credit back from these ppl. Save your money and find a different cabin cause this 1 aint it
I loved our stay - the cabin was spacious and modern, yet cozy all at the same time. Everything worked nicely with lots of amenities. Great close location to the hiking trails, vineyards, and grocery store. Very clean too.
We were really impressed with the cabin. It is a beautiful home and a really nice piece of property. The driveway is a little sketchy due to being washed out by heavy rains and needs some tlc. Other than that, really enjoyed our stay and will definitely choose this property again, if available.
My family and I stayed at this property for a couple of nights while we visited area attractions such as the Georgia Mountain Fall Festival, Brasstown Bald and Helen. The cabin was beautiful, clean and had all of the amenities we desired. We would definitely stay here again.

We're glad you enjoyed your stay. We look forward to seeing you again.
We loved the cabin and area! Cabin was very well appointed. Had everything we needed. Loved the decor. Loved the hot tub! Road up mountain to cabin could use a little work.
Beautiful cozy cabin!! Would definitely recommend arriving before dark like other guest have mentioned along with being prepared to travel on a very rough pathway to the cabin. Once at the cabin, everything was just as described but better in person! Our family enjoyed our stay!!
Me and my wife enjoyed this property so much! Beautiful looks of a cabin with modern and update kitchen and bathroom. Hot tub was nice the pool table was a great extra! Wifi was great plus the large fireplace and smart Tvs were a plus! Great location close to town and many outdoor activities! Would definitely stay here again!
I have stayed in a bunch of different cabins in that area and have to say it is the best. Beautiful cabin, beautiful view and great caring hosts. Always on top of everything and well stocked. Stayed there for 8 nights and loved it. Thanks for a wonderful vacation
John
Enjoyed the overall experience and setting of the cabin. Only issues were the upper main bedroom had only a curtain for privacy and the iron in water was very high. Everything else was as described. Nice, secluded and great views!!!

Steep driveway
It was almost impossible to get in and out of steep driveway. The wi fi network was unsecure and the water has a lot of iron in it so it has a smell. Beds are very comfortable and the kitchen is decently stocked.

This cabin suited our need, but be ware of location. They don’t tell you that it is located up a one way dirt road on the edge of the mountain, literally. Once you get up there the driveway is like a drop off with major ruts and pot holes. You MUST have 4 wheel drive. Luckily we did. I just feel that needing 4 wheel drive should be included in the listing.

Absolutely loved our stay at this cabin. The cabin was very clean and beautiful. The host was also good with communicating with us and answering any questions we had. It was definitely a place we would stay at again. Only issue was getting to the place so just follow the directions the host sends and not what Google Maps says. Be cautious of the short dirt road but it is totally worth it. It was so peaceful and quiet up there. Highly recommend.
The location is great, close to many things. There were several annoying things such as a missing remote upstairs, downstairs tv had no sound and a light was left on behind a locked door that I can only assume leads to the house's downstairs area. Our biggest concern were several cleaning issues. If these situations are cleared up we would definitely stay there again.

Why Do You Need A Buyer's Agent? First of All Having a Buyer's Agent Does Not Add to your Cost. The seller along with the seller's agent pays the buyer's agent fee. Many buyers mistakenly believe they would get a better deal if they do not use a buyer's agent. They assume that since the seller has to pay the agent a commission, they would be willing to pass those savings on to the buyer if they do not use an agent. This is NOT true. In fact, seller's agents charge the same price regardless of whether or not you use an agent.
Here are a few things a buyer's agent does:
Helps you through the negotiating process. This is probably the most important part of having an agent represent you. The agent working for the builder or seller has one job and that is to sell you a home – maximizing the profits for their seller. You have to understand everything you're signing including addendums to the contract, possible delays, what would happen if your current home doesn't sell, etc. The most important thing to remember is that a buyer's agent helps walk you through everything step by step and works FOR YOU, not the seller. Makes sure you don't overpay for a home. If you buy your home directly from the seller's agent they are only looking out for the seller's interests. A buyer's agent will provide you with valuable comparable properties and five you their opinion of the value. Much, much more! A buyer's agent is a valuable asset to any home purchase and should never be considered an unnecessary part of the process.
