About this property

Seaside Cottage to Die For

February Bulletin: Coastal Maine just got clobbered last month, and our beloved SCTDF was no exception! Repair and restoration efforts are underway, but as of today (2/23) we are not in position to accept reservations. If you are interested, let us know with a return note, and we will get back to you as soon as we are perfectly sure the cottage will be fully back to battery and ready for you to have an amazing visit. Here's the description, all still accurate:

Literally at the water's edge in Bass Harbor, where high tide laps at the shore beneath your deck, lulling you to sleep as if on a boat. This quaint 'camp' has everything, at close quarters, overlooking the working Maine lobster community at the scenic southwest corner of Mount Desert Island. MDI is of course home to Acadia National Park where trails, hikes, kayaking, mountains and more abound, and the Island Explorer bus goes right past your front door, easing access to all Acadia has to offer.

Anniversary Stay
This little cottage was perfect for our anniversary trip to Acadia!! It was right on the water and we watched the tide come in and go out. Our first night we made dinner and watched the sunset. It was GORGEOUS!! Ned was such a great host! We asked for recommendations and went with his. It did not disappoint!! The location wasn't too far from Acadia and close to the light house. It was an amazing stay and highly recommend!!
