Welcome to Laurel Lodge at Mill Ridge!
Laurel Lodge is a spacious family and pet-friendly home with four bedrooms and three baths, featuring a fabulous outdoor deck seating area and a game room on the lower level. Located in the beautiful Mill Ridge community, guests have access to resort-like amenities including outdoor tennis courts, a seasonal outdoor swimming pool, playground, the Watauga River, and beautiful hiking trails! When you are ready to head out and explore our area, the central location right between Boone and Banner Elk offers an ideal starting point for all your mountain adventures.
Level entry from the paved parking area into the home allows easier access. Lower-level living area offers ample seating, an electric dart board, a foosball table, Raspberry Pi retro gaming system and second refrigerator. This lower level also features two bedrooms, one with two bunk beds with twin beds and another with a queen bed. Additionally, there is a memory foam sleeper sofa and a full bathroom with a standing shower.
The upper level features an open-concept well stocked kitchen, dining area, and living room area. On the other side of the upper level, you'll find 2 more bedrooms, one with a king bed suite and the other with 2 twin beds. All televisions are Roku smart televisions. Laurel Lodge also offers high speed internet. Perfect for remote work or learning. Outside, enjoy the upper-level decks with plenty of seating, including a 6-person dining table.
Important Information
- CANCELLATION POLICY - Bookings canceled 60+ days before arrival will receive a refund of the deposit. Bookings canceled between 31-59 days before arrival will receive a refund of half of the deposit. Bookings canceled within 30 days of arrival are not entitled to a refund unless the reservation dates are rebooked to another guest. All bookings are subject to a $50 cancellation fee.
- All BRMR homes offer well stocked kitchens with all the utensils needed to cook meals. There is also a "starter set" of paper products at the house: a roll of toilet paper per bath, a couple garbage bags, a small vial of dishwashing liquid, a few tablets of dishwasher detergent, some laundry pods, a roll of paper towels, hand soap, shampoo, conditioner, body wash, and some makeup remover cloths. There are enough of these items for one night, or maybe two. We do not provide hair dryers.
- This property is pet friendly for up to 2 dogs. We do request no pets on the furniture. Pets must be on a leash at all times when outside the home.
- Towels and linens will be provided for you.
- Please observe a quiet hour of 10 p.m.
- Check in is after 4pm and check out is by 10am
- Must electronically sign an additional Rental Agreement Terms and Conditions and any Neighborhood Rules sent by Host (property manager) or entry information cannot be sent.
- Must be at least 25 years old to reserve. This person is required to be the person signing the agreement and must be one of the persons staying in the property for the reserved dates.
- No smoking inside the home. No trace of smoking left outside the home.
- Do not leave food or trash outside as it could attract animals. All trash must be bagged and placed in the trash receptacle indicated in the Welcome Book inside the house or your digital guidebook.
- No parties or gatherings above the posted occupancy allowed at any time. Keep outside noise respectable.
- 4WD/AWD and/or chains recommended during winter (Nov-March) for all homes. Travelers visiting during the winter months where inclement weather may be possible should come prepared with an AWD or 4WD vehicle, and chains may also be required if it snows. No refunds, allowances, or date changes will be given to travelers who are not prepared with the proper vehicle, as outlined in the Rental Agreement.
